Abstract: An improved dual flush system for toilets to effect a partial or mini-flush of the toilet to carry away liquid waste by partially opening of the main valve situated in the water holding tank of a toilet for a period of time determined by an operator. The described device provides means to limit the upward lifting of the main valve by limiting the rotational movement of the lever arm connected to the main valve by a cord or chain. Upward movement of the lever arm is limited within the flush handle assembly connecting to the lever arm wherein a partial flush handle movement is terminated by striking a modified eccentrically shaped cam situated within a hollowed out cavity in the partial flush handle, and a full flush handle is provided to continue raising the lever arm to effect a full flush.
Abstract: A fraction collector includes a base unit and a turntable rotatably mounted on the base unit for supporting a plurality of collection tubes. The upper horizontal surface of the base unit includes a receptacle which is disposed to collect fluids discharged onto the base unit. The turntable is enclosed and includes a discharge port which is aligned over the receptacle when the turntable is mounted on the base unit. In this way, fluids which are intentionally or unintentionally discharged into the turntable will be collected in the receptacle 46. Receptacle 46 also includes a discharge port which may be connected to a disposal site, typically by flexible tubing.

Abstract: A self-contained decontamination vehicle containing a system for man-carried equipment washing down personnel at the site of a major chemical disaster. The vehicle contains equipment for decontaminating the equipment used by the emergency personnel so that such man-carried equipment can be brought back into service immediately. All contaminated liquids are either retained within the vehicle for later disposition in a safe manner, or such liquids are decontaminated before being returned to the environment.
Abstract: A bolt for fastening a water closet to a floor flange has a shoulder portion for engaging the arcuate slot of the flange to prevent rotation of the bolt during installation and removal. A spring bias device on the shoulder maintains the vertical orientation of the bolt during installation and prevents the bolt from falling through the flooring.
Abstract: A unit for use in a spa tub to provide a dry hydro-massage of the neck and shoulders. The unit includes a diaphragm which sealingly covers a discharge jet such that the fluid will flex the diaphragm into massaging relationship with the user's body. The water is exhausted into the spa through a secondary port below the water line such that dry hydro-therapy is provided by the unit. The unit is mounted within the side wall of the tub spa and can be telescopingly adjusted between a position just below the water line and a position above the water line. With the unit in the upper position the user may remain seated within the spa while the unit provides a dry hydro-massage of the neck and upper back normally positioned above the water line. Lower positions provide massage of lower body portions and facilitate storage and covering of the spa. The diaphragm unit is adapted to be utilized with various jet nozzles.
