  • Patent number: 11810474
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and systems for providing virtual feedback of a neural pattern to create a neural pathway corresponding to an action of an affected limb of a brain injury patient. Embodiments provide for detecting a neural pattern and determining a target action associated with the detected neural pattern. A virtual feedback is generated that includes a virtual action to be performed in a virtual representation of the affected limb. In embodiments, the brain injury may prevent the affected limb from performing the target action. The virtual representation of the affected limb is superimposed over a real-world presence of the affected limb such that the virtual representation is presented to the patient in lieu of the real-world presence, and the virtual action is performed in the virtual representation, such that the virtual action is presented to the patient in lieu of the target action in the real-world.

  • Patent number: 10986994
Abstract: According to various embodiments, a stress detection and alleviation (SoDA) system for a user is disclosed. The system includes a SoDA device configured with one or more processors that receive wearable medical sensor (WMS) data from a plurality of WMSs. The processors are programmed to remove one or more artifacts from the WMS data, extract a set of features from the WMS data, remove correlated features from the extracted features to obtain a reduced set of features, classify the reduced set of features in order to determine whether the user is stressed, and generate a response based on whether the user is stressed.

  • Patent number: 10959640
Abstract: A training apparatus 1000 using a method of decoding nerve activity includes: a brain activity detecting device 108 for detecting brain activity at a prescribed area within a brain of a subject; and an output device 130 for presenting neurofeedback information (presentation information) to the subject. A processing device 102 decodes a pattern of cranial nerve activity, generates a reward value based on a degree of similarity of the decoded pattern with respect to a target activation pattern obtained in advance for the event as the object of training, and generates presentation information corresponding to the reward value.
