The pilot valve has a first pilot chamber configured such that the working fluid is guided from the bottom-side chamber, and a second pilot chamber configured such that the working fluid is guided from the rod-side chamber. When the fluid pressure shock absorber is not extended/contracted, the pilot valve supplies the pilot pressure to the pilot chamber of the damping valve, and when the fluid pressure shock absorber is extended/contracted, the pilot valve holds the pilot pressure in the pilot chamber of the damping valve supplied when the fluid pressure shock absorber is not extended/contracted.
