  • Patent number: 9371165
Abstract: A child resistant dispensing closure for dispensing a product from a container has a cap base and a cap that can be secured to a container. The cap base has a locking tab that engages a locking lug on a container, to prevent removal of the cap base from the container. To seal a pour spout on the cap base, a cap is removably secured to the cap base. A child resistant mechanism prevents accidental removal of the cap from the cap base. The child resistant mechanism may include a child resistant stop tab on the cap that selectively engages a child resistant stop lug located on either the container or the cap base. Alternatively, the child resistant mechanism may include a latch hook on the cap base that selectively engages a stepped locking shoulder on the cap skirt.

  • Patent number: 9346074
Abstract: An applicator for dispensing a liquid conformal coating material onto a substrate. The applicator includes a body assembly with a liquid flow passage having a liquid inlet adapted to receive the coating material and a liquid outlet. A valve seat is positioned between the liquid flow passage and the liquid outlet. A valve stem is mounted in the body assembly for reciprocating movement between an open position and a closed position. The valve stem includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the valve stem engages the valve seat in the closed position to stop flow of the liquid coating material through the outlet and disengages from the valve seat in the open position to allow flow of the liquid coating material through the outlet. A valve actuating mechanism is operative to move the valve stem from the open position to the closed position and is further operative to move the valve stem from the closed position to the open position.

  • Patent number: 9334088
Abstract: A dispensing device for a multi-component composition comprises a plurality of collapsible bag compartments (109, 110) located within a housing (101). The compartments extend adjacent each other and have cross-sectional areas that are proportional to an intended volume mixing ratio for the multi-component composition. Each compartment has an opening (123) that communicates with a device outlet at one end of the housing, and an opposite, sealed end that is exposed to pressure from a compression device (103). The compression device acts to collapse the compartments and dispenses the components through the device outlet. The components have different viscosities. The chamber of a less viscous component has a flow control regulator (111) to compensate for extra pressure exerted on that compartment by an adjacent compartment containing a more viscous component.

  • Patent number: 9285149
Abstract: An automated ice dispenser (30) decouples the action of agitating ice stored in an ice bin (69) and the action of dispensing the ice and, additionally, uses a controlled action to dispense the ice. Agitation is achieved with a horizontally mounted agitator (91). Ice is dispensed with a horizontally mounted auger (124). The ice dispenser (30) uses the force created by the auger (124) to push the ice through an opening (71) and out of the bin (69), making the dispensing more consistent and providing the ability to overcome clumping. By making the agitation action independent of the dispensing action, the incidence of clumping is reduced. Agitation is controlled by software, whereunder the agitator (91) turns on based on the cumulative run time of the auger (124). Auger run time and agitation time (as well as other configurable parameters) are adjustable by DIP switches (134) on a control board (133).

  • Patent number: 9277797
Abstract: A cosmetic container has a first sleeve, a driving assembly, a bottle and a second sleeve. The driving assembly is mounted in the first sleeve and has a first rotating tube, a seat and a second rotating tube. The seat is moveably mounted in the first rotating tube. The second rotating tube is rotatably mounted around the first rotating tube. The bottle is mounted in the seat of the driving assembly and has a vacuum valve and an outlet. The second sleeve is coactively mounted on the second rotating tube. The first sleeve is rotated by the driving assembly to drive the bottle to move up and down. Therefore, the cosmetic container can be operated conveniently. The piston can push out the cosmetic product in the body effectively. Therefore, quantity of cosmetic product remaining on an inner surface of the body is decreased.
