The use of this pressure sensitive adhesive sheet for wafer sticking enables inhibiting the vibration of wafer at the time of dicing of the wafer so that chipping of the wafer can be minimized.
Abstract: An adhesive tape for painting includes an adhesive layer having a top surface; a paint layer including paint with the paint layer provided on the top surface of the adhesive layer; and a clear coating layer laminated on the painting layer. Since the painting adhesive tape of the present invention has the paint layer formed of paint itself, this tape is capable of providing excellent color reproduction and color development. The paint layer is preferably formed by spray painting so as to have a thickness of 1 &mgr;m to 20 &mgr;m. The adhesive layer is preferably formed of a pressure-sensitive adhesive containing an acryl-based resin as its major component.
Abstract: An adhesive tape which comprises: (1) a backing film, wherein the backing film has at least two intermeshed coextruded layers of different composition, whose interface has a nonlinear course in cross section, which continues laminarly in the machine direction and has been oriented in the machine direction, and has plane-parallel outer faces; and (2) at least one adhesive layer which is attached to the backing film.
Abstract: An adhesive packaging tape comprising a backing and an adhesive composition, wherein the adhesive composition is coated onto the backing as a butadiene/acrylate dispersion having a butadiene content of more than 50% in a blend with resin dispersion and is then dried.
Abstract: A multilayer PSA construction includes a facestock, a hazy, first adhesive layer adjacent the facestock, and a PSA layer adjacent the first adhesive layer, and is protected until use by a release liner. The first adhesive layer includes an immiscible blend of a first elastomer having a first glass transition temperature and forming a continuous phase, and a second elastomer forming a discontinuous phase. The second elastomer has a glass transition temperature greater than the first glass transition temperature. The first adhesive layer also contains a tackifying component, which is preferentially soluble in the discontinuous phase. The PSA layer has a composition different from the first adhesive layer and is formed of at least one tackified elastomer that provides a measurable third maximum glass transition temperature, which is less than the second glass transition temperature. The multilayer PSA construction exhibits reduced migration of tackifiers and plasticizers over time.
