Abstract: Disclosed is a control system suitable for controlling a ceiling structure of a carrier. The control system includes: a processing module; a sensor module, electrically coupled to the processing module and senses an external wind-force; and a driving device, electrically coupled to the processing module and controls unfolding and folding of the ceiling structure, wherein when the processing module determines through the sensor module that the external wind-force is greater than a predetermined wind-force threshold, the driving device is controlled such that the ceiling structure shelters at least part of the carrier. Also disclosed is a carrier including a ceiling structure, and a control method suitable for controlling a ceiling structure of a carrier.

Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a hunting blind with a plurality of planar panels, where the panels are arranged side-by-side and coupled together along their lateral edges to one another using selectively lockable hinges to form an elongate, essentially U or C shaped structure. The hunting blind is arranged to partially surround and define a three-dimensional space in which a hunter may be concealed from game. Support members that extend into the three-dimensional space are excluded in the disclosed hunting blind, such that the volume of usable space concealed by the blind is maximized and the hunter's position or movement within the space remains unimpeded.

Abstract: A rod of an umbrella is a rod having a tail end and an extension rod having two ends; one end of the extension rod is detachably connected to the tail end of the rod; the rod is a hollow tube in which the extension rod is inserted, a limiting mechanism is located inside the rod for limiting insertion of the extension rod; the extension rod is made of rigid material or elastic material. When in use, the assembly can be completed by inserting the extension rod into the tail end of the rod, so that the rod becomes longer and is very easy to use. In the present invention, the rod is simple and reasonable in structure and easy and quick for operation and assembly, which can greatly increase the shading area, meet the functional requirements of the product, and reduce the packaging and transportation costs.

Abstract: A portable multi-hinged shelter for housing one or more individuals and storing gear commonly associated with outdoor excursions and like activities, which includes a box frame mounted atop of and connected to an open cargo bay of a vehicle and fitted with a secondary shelter shell and a supportive wind wall removably attached to the box frame and pivotally connected to a lower wind wall and sideward arms of a moveable frame assembly. The moveable frame assembly further includes primary and secondary canopies pivotally connected to the sideward arms and a ground brace pivotally connected to the primary canopy that collectively accept and support attachment of a primary shelter shell, whereby multiple pairs of linear actuators operating in unison and connecting to and interacting with select structural aspects of the supportive wind wall and moveable frame assembly yields automated expansion and contraction of the moveable frame assembly respectively for occupancy and compact transport alongside the vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a foldable tent with central lifting and automatic opening and closing structure, including a central bracket group and inclined frames. The central bracket group includes an upper frame and a base bracket. The inclined frame includes a first inclined rod hinged with the upper frame at one end, and a second inclined rod hinged with the first inclined rod at one end. The upper frame includes an upper top and a middle piece. The upper top is provided with a mounting hole in a non-circular structure. The middle piece is provided with an upper section and a lower section both in a non-circular structure. The lower section is provided with a spring pin. The base bracket is provided with an insertion hole in a non-circular structure. The side wall of the insertion hole is provided with a pin hole capable of locking the spring pin.

Abstract: A tent frame includes extension poles, first connectors and supporting poles. For each respective extension pole, the corresponding first connector includes a first coupling member and a second coupling member facing away from a central axis of the tent frame. The corresponding supporting pole has an upper end connected to the first coupling member of the corresponding first connector and the respective extension pole has an end pivotally connected to the second coupling member of the corresponding first connector. At least a first portion of the corresponding supporting pole has a first surface that is substantially flat and faces away from the central axis of the tent frame. When the frame is folded, the respective extension pole is folded onto the first surface of the corresponding supporting pole, and thus minimizes a size of the tent frame when folded.

Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention relates to a portable shelter, whether being of the type having a floating canopy or an umbrella. The shelter includes a support including an upright. A canopy is supported by the support. The canopy includes an expandable frame, and a sheet of material supported by the frame. The frame includes retractable ribs supporting the sheet. The frame also includes a stretcher arrangement for stretching out each rib from the support. The stretcher arrangement includes a first stretcher for coupling between the support and the rib; and a second stretcher for coupling to the first stretcher.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for hunting that enables hunters to remain concealed while still maneuvering with the blind constructed in an in-use configuration and without disturbing quarry. The hunting blind comprises a portable, collapsible, lightweight, pop-up frame enabling the gamesmen to gain closer proximity to small and large game while permitting movement during use without detection. When not in use, the frame of the hunting blind collapses into a compact, transportable configuration that slides into a carrying bag for easy transport. The hunting blind of the present invention offers 360 degrees of concealment, comfortably concealing two hunters. The blind comprises a cover adapted to swathe the frame and create a taut surface against which camouflage may be installed for concealment in a plurality of horizontal rows providing mechanisms for staggering the placement of camouflage on the cover to further enhance concealment.

The first edge region of the adapter body is equipped with a vehicle connection element for releasably fastening the first edge region to a vehicle. The second edge region of the adapter body is equipped at the second edge region with a planar element connection element for releasably fastening the second edge region to an edge region of a planar element. The invention also relates to a modular system having such an adapter element and having a planar element.

The securing element (4) has a recess (5) with which the second tubular portion (2) cooperates such that radial movements of the securing element (4) relative to the second tubular portion (2) are prevented.

Abstract: A portable bivouac sack configured to be self-deploy when released from its compact storage configuration. The bivouac sack comprises an elongated bag shell made of waterproof material with an elongated ground piece and a top panel. The sack is closed on one end, open at an opposite end, and configured to receive a sleeping bag. The top panel is shorter than the ground piece to form a transverse opening into the bag shell and a longitudinally aligned pan. Disposed over the pan is a self-deploying frame that folds into a compact circular configuration for storage and automatically unfolds and self-deploys when released to form an expanded frame. Attached to the frame is a flexible outer cover that expands with the frame to form a dome over the pan. The frame cover extends downward towards the pan and a sliding connector selective attaches the frame cover to the pan to provide egress and ingress to the protected area under the dome. An optional outer cover is provided that fits over the dome.

Abstract: A shelter includes a frame structure with a plurality of pole structures. In some embodiments, a telescoping pole structure includes a shell pole portion extending along a longitudinal axis, a sleeve fixed to the shell pole portion, and an inner pole portion extending along the longitudinal axis and positioned at least partially within the shell pole portion and at least partially within the sleeve. The inner pole portion slides telescopically relative to the shell pole portion. The sleeve may be rotatable and it may include an engagement surface having one or more surface positions for contacting a detent element attached to the inner pole portion. Contact between the detent element and each of the one or more surface positions prevents the inner pole portion from moving telescopically into the shell pole portion. Turning the sleeve may extend or retract the telescoping pole structure.

The present invention beneficially reduces the damage, discomfort, and inconvenience caused by users' exposure to the elements and comprises a plurality of covering panels coupled to a flexible tubular frame, the canopy operably configured to selectively removably couple to a Bimini top, T-top, or other boat cover, canvas, or canopy structure (or to the marine vessel itself) using a plurality of fasteners coupled to the flexible tubular frame.

Each support structure in the at least two groups of support structures comprises a brace rod and a folding mechanism. The brace rod is rotatably connected to the top seat. The folding mechanism is arranged between the base and the brace rod. The brace rod has an unfolded state in which the brace rod is expanded outwards relative to the top seat and a folded state in which the brace rod is folded downwards relative to the top seat. The folding mechanism is configured to urge the brace rod from the folded state and the unfolded state.

Abstract: Mesh material is presented for a hunting blind with a camouflage pattern printed on a first side and a second side with a color coating. The mesh material is partially transmissive such that a portion of incident radiation from an exterior of the hunting blind is reflected back into the exterior, a portion of incident radiation from an interior of the hunting blind is transmitted through the mesh material to the exterior and an intensity ratio of the reflected portion to the transmitted portion during daylight conditions is above a threshold value such that the exterior of the hunting blind is visible from the interior and the interior of the hunting blind is not visible from an exterior of the hunting blind. A hunting blind is also provided that includes a frame including frame members and panels of the mesh material attached to the frame members.

Abstract: A portable structure including a solar shade is disclosed. The portable structure includes a frame comprising at least two beams, a main panel extending between the at least two beams, and a solar shade. The solar shade includes at least one solar shade panel spaced above the main panel by at least one inflatable beam to create a space between the solar shade panel and the main panel. The space creates an insulative layer to help regulate an interior temperature of the portable structure.
