    Abstract: A method for forming a system for securing items such as fishing hooks is disclosed. The method may include molding an elastomeric material to include a slit therein. Once formed, the elastomeric material may be compressed across the slit in order to reduce the width of the slit. While held in a compressed state, an item such as a fishing hook may be inserted into the slit. The compression may enable the slit to securely grip the item.

A window mounted fly trap comprising: (a) a frame for mounting to a window surface by detachable window mounting means; (b) a resilient cover having a non-adhesive first surface facing to the exterior of the frame and an adhesive second fly capture surface within the interior of the frame; said frame and cover defining therein a fly capture chamber; (c) the capture chamber having at least one ingress slot for permitting flies to enter the chamber; (d) wherein the flies walking on the surface of said window are permitted to enter the capture chamber and whereby the flies, when attempting to fly, contact the fly capture adhesive and are captured by said capture surface.

    Abstract: A flying insect station for attracting and killing insects on the exterior and interior of a structure is disclosed. The flying insect station includes features for attracting and killing files within a shortened window of time, preferably within one hour. The station includes in one aspect a surface being substantially dark in color and substantially reflective in nature to provide a facade of an opening. Suppression means such as a pesticide is included on one or more of the surfaces of the station for killing flying insects staging on the surface(s). An attractant may be used to provide a plume of attractant around surfaces of the housing to attract and lure flying insects to stage about a reflective surface. Increased catch rates for insect suppression devices are realized when used in combination with embodiments of the station.

Upon traversing the tube to obtain the bait, the tube freely spins depositing the mouse or animal into the liquid contained in the bucket, drowning the mouse or animal therein.
