The at least one printing apparatus is designed with a second raster image processor module, by means of which the image data in the converted file format can be adapted in a printer-specific manner prior to the printing of a corresponding printed image.
Abstract: Apparatus(es) and method(s) relating to operation of a multi-function printer panel are disclosed. In such a method, a main menu is displayed on a display screen of the multi-function printer panel. A plurality of primary image items of the main menu displayed on the display screen are navigated responsive to a first movement of a dial control. The dial control is pressed to select a primary image item of the plurality of primary image items. A plurality of secondary image items displayed on the display screen associated with the primary image item selected are navigated responsive to a second movement of the dial control. The dial control is pressed to select a secondary image item of the plurality of secondary image items.
Abstract: A test image having a plurality of line rows is printed. The individual lines of the line rows are printed by different nozzles of a print head. The lines are thereby associated with the different line rows such that the lines of two directly adjacent line rows are not printed by all respective nozzles from two nozzle rows of the print head that are connected with one another via a common ink supply channel. Crosstalk between the nozzle rows, and print image artifacts of the test image that are linked therewith, may thus be advantageously avoided.
Abstract: An apparatus, process, and computer program product provide an improvement to downscaling techniques for image processing. Embodiments of the downscale processes may be applied to images rendered on printed documents. Aspects of the downscaling processes provide quality, discernible rendered images while being efficient with computing resources. Exemplary embodiments carryover binary bit data from adjacent regions into an application region being downscaled for determination of the downscale output. Depending on the downscale output value for the application region, bits from the application region may be carried over to adjacent regions and used in determining whether those regions, when processed will have an “ON” or “OFF value when downscaled.
Abstract: A liquid consuming device, including an attachment case, to which a cartridge including a first compartment is attachable, a first channel connectable with the first compartment, a tank including a second compartment connected with the first channel, a second channel connected with the second compartment, a head connected with the second channel, a display, and a controller, is provided. The controller controls, in response to a first remainder amount being an amount of a liquid in the cartridge being greater than or equal to a first predetermined amount, the display to display a first screen including a first object indicating the first remainder amount, and controls, in response to the first remainder amount being smaller than the first predetermined amount, the display to display the first screen including a second object, which indicates a second remainder amount being an amount of the liquid in the tank.
