Abstract: A dust and water proof apparatus for a bulk carrier includes a first frame having two opposed sidewalls formed with a respective roller-receiving groove. A second frame is disposed among the sidewalls and two opposed end walls of the first frame, and has two opposed shorter walls provided with rollers which extend into the groove of the corresponding sidewalls, and two opposed longer walls formed with a respective roller-receiving groove. A third frame is disposed among the shorter and longer walls of the second frame, and has two opposed roller-mounted walls provided with rollers which extend into the groove of the corresponding longer walls. A first cover unit includes a first canopy having a first end connected to one end wall and a second end connected to one longer wall, and a second canopy having a first end connected to the other end wall and a second end connected to the other longer wall.

Abstract: A truck having a flat body is fitted with a tram to unload burdened pallets. The tram travels on rails and rollers fastened to the truck body. A burdened pallet on the tram is to be unloaded from the truck. A winch pulls the tram rearward and as the tram and load begin to tilt, one or more fixed restraining cables control the tilt. On contact with the ground a restraining pin holding the pallet from proceeding down the grade, automatically retracts allowing the pallet and burden to move down the tram. A flat adjustable spring bears against the pallet, reducing its velocity. The truck is moved forward and the pallet and burden rests on the ground. The tram is retracted into the truck by the winch. The truck driver closes the tailgate.

Abstract: Suspension conveyor for transporting suspended material which hangs on a hook, such as garments on coat hangers, with trolleys suspended on a rail. The conveyor has carrying rods on which the hooks are suspended, with at least one descending discharging rod by which the material slides off under gravity. A transfer finger, arranged at the upper end of the discharging rod, and movable against the carrying rod of a trolley in a transfer position to engage underneath the hook, has an ascending ramp section to release the hooks which move over the ascending ramp section. A retaining device keeps the garments away from the transfer position on the trolley carrying rods until the finger is pivoted into the material transfer position.

Abstract: A palletizing robot for displacing stackable objects, particularly for printed products arranged in stacks, including a gripping device arranged at an arm driven to rotate about a vertical axis, a horizontally oriented transverse member including a track along which the rotatably mounted arm is guided so as to be displaceable in the direction of the transverse member and a bearing rotatable about a vertical axis for the gripping device. The part of the arm extending in the horizontal direction is here disposed below the transverse member and the gripping device is furthermore arranged so as to be vertically displaceable by a predetermined lifting movement, particularly a lifting movement of a few centimeters, in the horizontally extending arm.
