Abstract: An anchor for releasably anchoring a membrane to a surface housing a base member for attachment to the surface, the base member including a post having a groove therearound, and a fastening assembly shaped to freely fit over the base member with the membrane thereover, the fastening assembly including a fastening ring, housed in ring fastening member, capable of inward deformation to cooperate with the groove with the membrane therebetween to captively hold the assembly on the base member and a deforming member to deform the fastening ring inwardly into that cooperation and to maintain that cooperation.
