  • Patent number: 6994270
Abstract: A dispenser of actives having a linear release rate may be achieved by providing a volatile containing gel system wherein the gel system is proportioned in specified dimensional ratios, so that the sum of the rate of volatile release from directly exposed areas of the surface of the gel system and the rate of volatile release from areas of the surface of the gel system which are not in direct exposure to the atmosphere remains essentially constant through out the life of the dispensing device.

  • Patent number: 6050546
Abstract: A small vehicle lift of the parallelogram type is described wherein parallel pivoting legs are pivotally attached at their opposing ends to a base and a support platform, whereby the lift ranges from a lowered state wherein the support platform is in close parallel relation to the base and a raised position wherein the support platform is in spaced parallel relation to the base. Both the support platform and the base pivotally bear the legs within channels and thereby surround the legs at opposing planes adjacent the planes wherein the legs pivot. The channels within the base also have wheels rotatably mounted therein to allow the lift to be easily transported. Two opposing pivoting legs are affixed together by a bridge member which is pivotally connected to a linear actuator, which is in turn pivotally connected to the base. Actuation of the linear actuator thereby raises and lowers the support platform with respect to the base.

  • Patent number: 5911798
Abstract: A tool is provided with a handle extension, including inner and outer telescoping members. The inner member is press-fitted to the handle of the tool, and the outer member is configured to provide a comfortable grip for the user of the tool. A spring-loaded detent means between the inner and outer members provides two alternate positions, constituting a normal position in which the outer member is disposed radially of the inner member (and of the handle of the tool) and an extended position in which the outer member is disposed rearwardly of the handle of the tool for providing increased manual leverage in using the tool. In a preferred embodiment, the tool is a ratchet wrench and the telescoping members are molded of a suitable plastic.
