  • Patent number: 11139730
Abstract: A switching period in a burst cycle includes three pulses, that is to say, a start pulse that turns on a low-side switching element, a main pulse that turns on a high-side switching element, and an end pulse that turns on the low-side switching element. A burst stop period corresponding to the magnitude of a load is set during a switching stop period. When the burst cycle approaches a cycle corresponding to a frequency close to the upper limit of the audible frequencies, a second off-threshold voltage of the main pulse is made equal to a first off-threshold voltage of the start pulse to narrow the on-width of the main pulse. By doing so, energy transmitted to the secondary side of a transformer is reduced and the burst cycle is shortened.

  • Patent number: 11035907
Abstract: In a multi-phase power grid fed by a power source, earth fault (460) is located by means of a power supply source synchronized with the power grid, which is connected between a zero point of the grid and earth. In a fault current compensation mode (420), a control unit controls the alternating voltage source to compensate for any ground fault current in the power grid to a value below a threshold level. In a fault detecting mode (430), the control unit gradually adjusts the output voltage of the alternating voltage source with respect to amplitude and/or phase angle (440). A change of zero-sequence current and zero-sequence admittance between the alternating voltage source and a fault location is measured (450) by means of at least one detector. The at least one detector is communicatively connected to the control unit and reports recorded measured values representing zero-sequence current and/or zero-sequence admittance to the control unit.

  • Patent number: 11018549
Abstract: A dynamic vibration absorber needs to be designed so that the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber alone becomes equal to the natural frequency of a stator. If these natural frequencies greatly deviate from each other, the effect is reduced. Therefore, the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber alone needs to be accurately calculated to make designing. However, in actual, the natural frequency is greatly influenced by the rigidity around the mounting position of a vibration damping target, and thus there is a problem that the natural frequency becomes different from the designed value upon mounting. An object of the present invention is to reduce an influence on the natural frequency of the dynamic vibration absorber alone given by the rigidity around the mounting position, by mounting a plurality of dynamic vibration absorbers to a dynamic vibration absorber mounting member, thereby making the dynamic vibration absorber more effective.

  • Patent number: 11005357
Abstract: A converter feeds phase currents into phase lines by applying alternately a high and a low potential via phase units. The phase currents are supplied via a filter device arranged downstream of the converter, with a portion of the filter currents supplied to filter capacitors connected to the phase lines, and feeds the remaining parts of the phase currents supplied to an electric load. The control device accepts the phase currents. A regulating device determines control signals for the phase units by direct-current control, such that a voltage profile downstream of the filter device has a predetermined amplitude when and as long as the supplied phase currents have minimum spacing from a predetermined maximum value. Otherwise, the control device intervenes in the control of the phase units by limiting the phase currents to the maximum value, until the voltage profile downstream of the filter device regains the predetermined amplitude.
