Abstract: A commercial toilet seat for use in public facilities for adults where the improved toilet seat has a stabilizing base section which conforms to the upper rim of a toilet for stability when people, especially large adult people, sit on a toilet. The toilet seat provides a greater surface area of contact between the toilet seat and the rim of the toilet and a greater surface area to sit on. The toilet seat also has downwardly slopping wings that extend from each side of the toilet seat which allow the user to more easily lift the toilet seat.

Abstract: A toilet seat and lid lifting and flushing device for connecting to a toilet. The toilet seat and lid lifting device includes a pedal operatively connected with a pivotal lid lever and a pivotal seat lever. A flush assembly includes a cable operatively connected to the pedal, a flush arm operatively connected to the cable, and a flush base receiving the flush arm. The seat lever is pivoted in a first direction upon application of a downward force to the pedal. The seat lever and the lid lever are pivoted in a second direction upon application of an upward force to the pedal. Application of an upward force to the pedal causes downward movement of the flush arm to initiate a flush cycle.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to an apparatus for cooking food products on both sides and, simultaneously, cooking them in the middle, and a method of cooking food products using said apparatus. In preferred embodiments, versions of the apparatus of the present invention comprise a crown pivotally connected to a base support, connected to a base, wherein when the crown is in the closed position with respect to the base food to be cooked is substantially enclosed in a cooking chamber comprising substantially a lower cook surface of 100 square inches or greater, a top cook surface of similar size, and is also subjected to microwaves generated by microwave generators located in the crown.

Abstract: An improved flapper valve has an elastomeric surrounding flapper valve top. A separate inverted dome-like structure, or cone, which is the ballast, is included for insertion into the flapper valve top. The improved flapper valve further includes a ring-like upper structure and a cap-like bottom structure. The ring-like upper “vent band” structure rotates about the cone relative to an air outlet aperture defined in the cone to control air flow from the cone. The bottom cap-like “adjuster” structure also rotates about the bottom of the cone to control water flow into the cone, also via apertures in both structures. Used together, the upper and bottom structures can minimize water consumption by the toilet. Further, the adjuster structure includes means for discretely changing settings with indicia to indicate to the user what the current setting is and means for maintaining that setting as may be desired or required.

Abstract: Provided is a sanitary cleansing device configured so that user's defecation can be promoted with a comfortable feeling by spraying of cleansing water. The present invention provides a sanitary cleansing device (1) including a nozzle assembly (6) provided with a spray port, a nozzle drive device (12), an operation device (10) operated by a user, and a spray control device (20) configured to actuate the nozzle drive device to execute a massage cleansing mode. The massage cleansing mode is a cleansing mode for repeating a predetermined massage cleansing cycle including a turning movement pattern for turning a water splash point of the cleansing water sprayed from the spray port at the periphery of a private area position of a seated human body and a front-to-back movement pattern for moving the water splash point through the private area position in a substantially front-to-back direction of the human body.

Abstract: Provided is a portable interdental toothbrush that includes a cleaning solution tube configured to contain a cleaning solution, and a brush body. The cleaning solution tube includes an assembly protrusion for discharging the cleaning solution formed in an upper part of the cleaning solution tube, an injection hole for filling with the cleaning solution formed in a lower part of the cleaning solution tube, and an injection hole cover for closing the injection hole. The brush body includes an assembly hole into which the assembly protrusion is inserted and assembled, and a brush fixing portion fixed in an upper part of the brush body.

Abstract: Drain chain systems include a cap connected to a chain. The cap is configured in size and shape to enable passage of water through the drain when the cap is positioned adjacent the cap. During use, the chain is positioned within a drain and hair gathers on the chain. The chain can then be pulled out of the drain, by the cap, to remove the hair. The chain can be cleaned of entangled hair and reused, or the chain can be discarded with or without the cap, by either leaving the chain connected to the cap or by detaching the chain from the cap and replacing it with a new chain.

Abstract: Drain chain systems can include a cap connected to a chain with an intermediate segment that is configured to pass between a plug and a surface of a tub or sink. The cap can be connected to a suction cup for attaching the system to the surface of the tub or sink. The intermediate segment is sized and shaped to prevent it from causing any substantial interference with the plug or plug sealing functionality. A ring can also be used, rather than the cap and suction cup, to position a chain within a drain. The ring can be positioned below the plug, so as to not interfere with the plug or plug sealing functionality at all. Small diameter caps and hooks can also be used to secure the chain within a drain, extending down from a drain cover.

Abstract: An apparatus for preparing a melon juice concentrate, such as watermelon juice concentrate, includes a finisher with brushes for separating melon flesh from melon rind including leaving at least 1/16 inch flesh on the rind and screens for separating juice from flesh. The apparatus also includes a steamer to reduce bacteria count on whole melon, a chopper for chopping melons into pieces less than about 16 inches square, an extractor for extracting juice from the flesh, and an evaporator for concentrating melon juice to form melon juice concentrate. The steamer includes a cylinder frame, steam jets directing steam through apertures in the cylinder frame at whole melon therein, and a motivator to move the whole melon along the cylinder frame. The apparatus can also process cantaloupe, honeydew melon, and other melon.

Abstract: A microwave device includes a microwave generator generating a microwave and outputting the microwave, a waveguide guiding the microwave output from the microwave generator, a cavity resonator, and a flow tube. In some embodiments, the cavity resonator has an irradiation chamber as a quadrangular prism cavity into which the microwave guided by the waveguide is introduced, resonates the microwave in the irradiation chamber, and generates an electric field in TM110 mode along a direction of a center axis through centers of top and bottom faces of the irradiation chamber. The flow tube is installed in the irradiation chamber and formed in a helical fashion by winding and extending around the center axis, and causes a liquid to be treated to flow in a direction crossing the electric field generated in the irradiation chamber. The center axis is a location where the electric field is the strongest in the irradiation chamber.

Abstract: A drawer-type microwave oven includes: an oven body, defining an oven cavity therein, and provided with a first microswitch, a second microswitch and a locking engagement component thereon; a drawer, connected to the oven body, disposed in the oven cavity and between a closed position and an opened position in a push-pull way, provided with a door at an end of the drawer for driving the door to open or close the oven cavity, and provided with a locking component rested against the first microswitch removably and a limiting component rested against the second microswitch removably; a drawer driving device, connected to the drawer; and a controller configured to control the drawer driving device to drive the drawer to be pushed into or pulled out of the oven cavity by monitoring state changes of the first microswitch and the second microswitch.

Abstract: A single or multi-level stirrer and dispenser having a base with a motor and preferably at least two beverage infusers, a first one placed on top of the base and the second placed on top of the first infuser, with any subsequent infusers stacked top of a lower infuser. Each infuser includes a receiving spindle affixed to its bottom. A stirrer with an axle and at least one blade extending from the axle is insertable into the receiving spindle so that the axle rotates within the receiving spindle. Each infuser includes a cover and a discharge valve for dispensing a beverage within the infuser. A lid is removably attached to top of the last infuser. The motor includes a rotor which is removably coupled to the axle in the first infuser, and each axle in each of the infusers is removably coupled to the axle in an adjacent infuser.

Abstract: A welding cable connector system having a male connector and a female connector. The male connector includes a first conductive body for conveying welding power. The male connector also includes a first sealed passageway disposed coaxially of the first conductive body for conveying shielding gas, and a first Schrader valve configured to stop flow of shielding gas when the male connector is not engaged. The female connector includes a second conductive body for conveying welding power. The female connector also includes a second sealed passageway disposed coaxially of the conductive body for conveying shielding gas, and a second Schrader valve configured to stop flow of shielding gas when the female connector is not engaged. The male and female connectors are mutually engageable to conduct welding power and shielding gas therethrough. The first and second Schrader valves seal the flow of shielding gas when the connectors are not mutually engaged.

The upper tip and the pressing rods press a stacked body, which is to be welded, from the metallic plate side, which is the outermost member of the stacked body. The lower tip presses the stacked body from the lowermost metallic plate side. In this state, and electric current is conducted from the upper tip to the lower tip.

Abstract: An over-the-range microwave oven including a duct unit configured to direct air from the back of the oven to the front. The duct unit includes a first panel disposed between the housing and the cooking unit of the oven. The first panel forms a bottom wall of the duct unit. The duct unit further includes at least a pair of second panels disposed on both lateral sides of the first panel. The gap between the pair of second panels decreases from one side end toward the other side end.

Abstract: Some embodiments of the present disclosure include a device for smoking and cooking food. The device may include a food enclosure and a smoke distribution manifold operatively connected to the food enclosure, the smoke distribution manifold configured to operatively connect to a smoke providing device, such as a customized smoker box or a conventional smoking device. The quality of the smoke is determined by a value from a sensor, such as a lux sensor, and the smoke distribution manifold may prevent bad quality smoke from contaminating the food in the food enclosure.

Abstract: A microwave heating apparatus and methods of controlling cooling of a microwave heating apparatus are provided. The microwave heating apparatus typically includes a microwave source for generating microwaves, a cooling unit for cooling the microwave source and a control unit. According to one embodiment, the control unit is configured to determine the efficiency of the microwave source and then to control the cooling based on the determined efficiency. The methods and the microwave heating apparatuses of the present invention are advantageous with respect to energy consumption.

Abstract: A beverage forming system and method in which a cartridge holder is movably mounted to the frame and has an opening to receive a cartridge. The cartridge holder may be arranged to hold and move a cartridge between an open position in which the opening of the cartridge holder is oriented in an upwardly inclined position to receive the cartridge, and a closed position in which the opening is oriented in a horizontal or downwardly inclined position. A cover may be arranged to cover the opening of the cartridge holder in a closed position, and the cover may be positioned away from the opening of the cartridge holder in an open position. A cartridge retainer may have an engagement portion arranged to hold the cartridge in the cartridge holder opening in at least a part of movement of the cartridge holder between the open and the closed positions.

Abstract: A device, method and kit for replacing a conventional golf ball washing assembly that uses a crank lever, as well as its shaft (which fits into a base on the ground) to easily convert it to an eco-friendly item washing device is provided. The invention involves a hollow support tube and an associated head having a pump assembly releasably secured thereon. The entire conventional washer is removed, except for the base, and one end of the support tube is inserted into the base. The pump assembly is removed and a cleaning solution is poured through the head and into the support tube. The pump assembly is re-attached. A head nest receives a “dirty” golf ball therein. When placed in the nest, pump activation dispenses the cleaning solution directly onto the ball or other golf item, in a limited delivery of cleaning solution to the dirty item to reduce waste.
