  • Patent number: 9976627
Abstract: The invention relates to a block lock for connecting two chain ends which comprises two block lock halves which extend in the longitudinal direction and which engage with each other in a positive fit via pins and grooves and lock to form two seating openings, each one to receive a chain link. The seating openings are separated by a crossbar which extends from one of the block lock halves to the opposite block lock half, wherein the block lock halves are coupled so as to rotate about the crossbar and/or on an end of a block lock half, a pin which protrudes in the direction of the opposite block lock half, which engages laterally in one lateral seating groove formed on one end of the opposite block lock half, when carrying out a relative rotational movement of both block lock halves.

  • Patent number: 9975289
Abstract: A tool operable to expand an end of a pipe, such as PEX pipe, has a jaw assembly with jaws movable between a closed position and an expanded position and rotatable about a longitudinal axis. A motor drives an output spindle driven by the motor, which in turn drives a radial cam. A wedge is movable by the radial cam in a reciprocating motion along the axis, causing the wedge to move between a first position where the jaws are in the closed position and a second position where the jaws are in the expanded position. A rotating ring is mounted on the wedge and connected to the jaws. The rotating ring is driven by the output spindle for rotating the jaws about the axis.

  • Patent number: 9968979
Abstract: A die apparatus for forming a press-formed component includes a piercing die, a piercing punch, and a support. The piercing die includes a tubular first forming portion for forming a boss portion and a second forming portion having a cutting edge and an inwardly extending portion. The second forming portion is adapted to perform pressing of a preform while cutting a portion thereof. A cutting edge which cooperates with the cutting edge of the second forming portion is formed at a distal end of the piercing punch. When forming a press-formed component, a projection end portion of a preform formed from a blank by drawing is cut and removed by the two cutting edges, and a preform boss portion is then pressed and swaged by the inwardly extending portion.

  • Patent number: 9968988
Abstract: A blind rivet fastening device in which a passage for collecting broken mandrels is provided other than on the axis of the motor. A large collection chamber is provided for broken mandrels. A collection chamber for broken mandrels is provided in front of a brushless electric motor in the axial direction. When the electric motor rotates, power from the electric motor is transmitted to a spindle positioned to the rear of the collection chamber via a second shaft positioned below the collection chamber. When the spindle rotates, a pulling head moves in the axial direction. The axial position of the pulling head is determined by detecting the rotation count of the electric motor. Forward rotation, reverse rotation, and stopping of the electric motor are controlled based on the operation of a trigger and the axial position of the pulling head. Excessive torque is avoided by clutches.
