Patent number: 9127398Abstract: A method for controlling a washing machine includes comparing a command value of a motor with a predetermined limit value, during spin-drying, to determine whether the motor is overloaded, and controlling driving of the motor in response to the determination. It may be possible to determine a water filling state, an excessive bubble state, or a drainage error state, which may be caused during a spin-drying operation, and to take a proper measure. That is, in the drainage error state, a user is informed of the drainage error. In the water filling state, the spin-drying is normally completed by re-performing the spin-drying operation. In the excessive bubble state, a rinsing or spin-drying operation is added to remove the bubbles. When the bubbles are not removed by the added rinsing or spin-drying operation, the excessive bubble message is displayed to inform a consumer of the excessive bubble state.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2009Date of Patent: September 8, 2015Assignee: SAMSUNG ELECTRONICS CO., LTD.Inventors: Jung Won Choi, Sung Mo Lee, Jae Young Choi

Patent number: 9114465Abstract: A three dimensional article and corresponding kit containing such an article exhibiting an upper accessible slot communicating with a three dimensional interior recess for receiving a likewise configured arcuate inserting portion of a circular saw blade. A volume of a cleaning solution is deposited upon interior surfaces of the article exposed to the interior recess and, upon insertion of the blade, the cleaning solution acts to remove sap and other build up contaminants typically associated with certain varieties of natural wood. The lengthwise extending surface configuration of the recess is further such that it exerts an inwardly opposing/biasing force to the inserted circular blade, this serving to retain the blade in place and further as it is slowly rotated throughout a 360° cycle to evenly clean all the perimeter extending teeth. Cleaning brushes and brush keys are also provided in the kit for assisting in cleaning the individual teeth.Type: GrantFiled: January 3, 2012Date of Patent: August 25, 2015Inventor: Gerald D. Engen

Patent number: 9095235Abstract: Charcoal barbecue grills have a grate (coarse screen) for grilling foods which has generally a size of 430 mm×250 mm or a diameter of 550 mm (in kettle barbecue grills). With these dimensions it is not possible to soak the grate (coarse screen) in the sink of any household kitchen in order to remove residues which accumulate during barbecuing (grease and food remains) because without soaking the grate (coarse screen), it is impossible to completely remove the waste. With the cleaning basin it is possible to clean the dirty grate easily on the barbecue grill. In addition, the residual heat of the grilling coals is used to heat up the wash basin to thus be better able to loosen the impurities. Another advantage of this invention is that the cleaning basin is stored in or on the barbecue grill, thus requiring no separate place. The cleaning basin for rectangular barbecue grills is represented in FIG. 6. The cleaning basin for the round (kettle grill) barbecue grill is represented in FIG. 2.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2008Date of Patent: August 4, 2015Inventor: Herbert Friedrich
