  • Patent number: 12117791
Abstract: A tool detector including a right-angle triangular base and an automatic controller is revealed. A light source of the right-angle triangular base emits a main light ray to a plane mirror to generate a reflected light ray which is incident to a quadrant detector to create a light receiving area. The automatic controller is for measuring a tool length and a tool radius. A control device of a computer numerical control machine tool sets up a standard value by a standard bar and drives an unfinished tool and a processed tool to set up an original value set and a measured value set. The automatic controller performs an error analysis on the original and measured value sets to get a relative difference of a tool length and radius of the processed tool for measuring the tool length and radius and compensation of thermal variables of the CNC machine tool.

  • Patent number: 12119738
Abstract: Circuitry and techniques described herein can use a clamp circuit to provide back-drive compensation in applications where a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) device is to be controlled. A back-drive compensation circuit can be used to inhibit or prevent a linear output stage of a TEC control circuit from being forced out of its intended operating range. The clamp circuit can be implemented using a variety of circuit topologies, such as including a comparator arrangement with hysteresis. In another approach, a linear amplifier topology can provide clamping behavior, such as by injecting or sinking a current at the output node or an intermediate node to inhibit or prevent the output node or intermediate node from being driven outside a specified voltage range by an external source.

  • Patent number: 12117800
Abstract: Systems and methods for automated workflow comprise assigning a set of first targets to an uncompiled first workflow. The uncompiled first workflow specifies a first set of process modules. Each such module is associated with a subset of unit operations. Each unit operation includes a time interval and specifies an instrument. For each target in the set of first targets, the uncompiled workflow is translated into an instance of a compiled first workflow comprising a linear temporal order of unit operations, each including execution instructions for an addressed instrument. A set of second targets is obtained and assigned a second uncompiled workflow. Compilation of the second uncompiled workflow for each second target produces a different instance of a compiled second workflow. Each second compiled workflow comprises a linear temporal order of unit operations, with each unit operation including execution instructions for an addressed instrument and specifying a time interval.

  • Patent number: 12117798
Abstract: A device may receive sensing data that is produced by an environment associated with a fiber optic cable. Based on the sensing data, the device may determine a sensing profile, which indicates a measure of vibration as a function of distance along the fiber optic cable and as a function of time. The device may receive new sensing data produced by the environment. The device may determine that the new sensing data satisfies a vibration deviation criteria, relative to the sensing profile, for a duration threshold. By satisfying the vibration deviation criteria for the duration threshold, the new sensing data may indicate that the environment includes an activity associated with an increased likelihood of damage to the fiber optic cable relative to the sensing data. The device may perform one or more actions based on the new sensing data satisfying the vibration deviation criteria for the duration threshold.
