Abstract: This invention is directed to a carrying case for fishing rods and reels and related equipment. The case contains one or more portions comprising support surfaces and recessed compartments where the rods and reels are securely fastened. Interposed between the recessed compartments are storage compartments that can be utilized to store other equipment. The case is designed to afford easy accessibility to the rods as well as the storage compartments while still providing the necessary protection and ease of transportation. The fasteners for the rods and reels are situated so as to secure the rods and reels in alternately disposed positions. Because of this design, the carrying case furnishes protection for multiple rods and reels while providing extra storage compartments for additional equipment, thereby maximizing the space used by the case.
Abstract: A packaging system is disclosed for storing and handling electrical connector components and the like. The system employs a plurality of elongated component-containing tubes. Each tube has an aperture near at least one end thereof. An assembly rod passes through aligned apertures of a plurality of generally parallel juxtaposed tubes to hold the tubes in a generally stacked array. A stopper plug is adapted for insertion into the one end of each tube to retain the components therein. The assembly rod interengages each stopper plug, whereby all of the stopper plugs are held in their respective tubes by the assembly rod, and removal of the rod from the tubes pulls the stopper plugs out of the one ends of the tubes.
Abstract: A molded two-piece suture package is disclosed which encloses and defines an oval channel in which sutures may be wound. The oval channel has two semicircular end sections connected by straight side sections. An opening in the channel is provided at the juncture of a straight section and an end section, permitting sutures to be withdrawn from the channel at the end of a straight section. In a preferred embodiment the interior wall of the channel is formed by alternating engaging sections formed in the respective package pieces. To prevent the wrapped suture from becoming entrapped when the two pieces are engaged, the top and bottom of the channel is alternately raised and lowered in alignment with the alternating wall sections, causing the wound suture to bridge those areas where it may become entrapped between the mating package pieces. Entrapment of the suture end at the outside of the channel is prevented by alternately recessing the outer wall of the channel.

Abstract: A container device for transporting single servings of goods. A base has a central depression shaped to hold the goods and is circumvented by side walls conforming to the shape. This provides an upwardly facing primary shoulder region. The walls further include an exteriorly projecting first shoulder disposed below the primary shoulder, and a flared radially outwardly directed terminal edge having a second outwardly projecting shoulder. A cover has a top surface and side walls shaped to conform to the shape of the base. The side walls have an interiorly projecting first shoulder and terminate in a flared radially outwardly directed terminal edge. The interiorly projecting shoulder and terminal edge of the wall are aligned to interface with the first projecting shoulder and second projecting shoulder respectively of the base.
