    Abstract: A potting system and method are provided in which a flexible pot side includes two sets of bottom panel apertures, each set receiving tabs from a bottom panel. The potting system is assembled by positioning mutually engaging panel mesh structures on the bottom panels while folding the flexible pot side so that a plurality of first lacing apertures aligns with a plurality of second lacing apertures, and then inserting a pull lace through the aligned apertures to mechanically interlock them. Additionally, the pot system may be easily disassembled by disengaging the pull lace from the lacing apertures which causes the pot side to unbend and allows the bottom panel tabs to disengage. The pot system may then be reassembled by reengaging the bottom panels, repositioning the lacing apertures and inserting the pull lace.

Accordingly, soil sample units may be obtained and provided to a server that generates raw data. The raw data is subsequently organized into a sub-report for each nutrient or variable contained in the raw data. An average for each nutrient in the raw data and a number of additional factors related to the raw data may be calculated. The average and additional factors are used to determine bulk recommendations by comparing target data to an exchangeable measured value. Additionally, the factors are also used to determine challenges and solutions by comparing the average data to the target data for each nutrient. The system compares the raw data to the measured values an mathematically adjusts the compared values to compute an optimal treatment algorithm.

    Abstract: A crawling insect barrier in which the combination of elements functions as a natural device to prevent ants or other crawling insects from accessing a table, cabinet, storage bin, structure, or any area wherein crawling insect infestation is undesirable. In one embodiment, a feather ring comprises a string (elastic or fixed length) to which natural feathers of various sizes and shapes are fastened, to thereby create a natural barrier or boundary that prevents crawling insects from crossing, and thus inhibiting the insects' ability to carry food, mark a path, build a nest, or infest an area. In another embodiment, a band or strap is used as the underlying surface on which the feathers are attached. If the string, band or strap is not elastic, the crawling insect barrier can be attached with adhesive or some other conventional fastener. The invention also includes a corresponding method of making the natural crawling barrier.

Movement away from the safe zone will trigger the unit to deliver a non-aversive second alert zone stimulus. Movement that isn't getting closer or further away triggers a first alert zone stimulus. Calculation of relative movement direction with regard to the safe zone is based upon a comparison to an approximate center of the safe zone.
