Abstract: A thin film magnetic head capable of recording and reproducing data accurately by providing a sufficient gap between adjoining terminals while providing each terminal with a required area. Magnetic elements are each connected to a respective terminal by leads. The terminals connected to the same magnetic element are deviated from each other in the widthwise direction of a slider.
