It is intended that personal belongings may be placed on the chair to facilitate its use as a cart. The wheel apparatus can quickly and easily be removed from the chair by unclamping it. The chair can be utilized for sitting with or without the wheels affixed.

    Abstract: A wheel lock assembly for an in-line skate includes an axle assembly for supporting a skate wheel and defining an enclosed cavity, and an actuator assembly comprising an actuator member disposed in the cavity movable by a control member disposed externally of the axle assembly. The lock assembly further includes a lock pad assembly comprising a lock pad adapted to engage an inside surface of the skate wheel mounted on the axle assembly, a support beam extending from the pad inwardly through a portion of the axle assembly and into the cavity, and a spring urging the lock pad and support inwardly to bias a free end of the support against the actuator member. Manipulation of the control member causes movement of the actuator member in the cavity, to cause movement of the support, to cause radial movement of the lock pad selectively into and out of engagement with the skate wheel inside surface.

Preferably the reinforcing elements define respective upwardly and downwardly opening channels that extend substantially around the periphery of the sidewalls, at least in a sleeper compartment area of a truck, and the rearwall of the truck. In a specific form, a lower reinforcing element has major sections with an h-shaped construction with an inner leg that projects upwardly above the elevation of the roof flange. This upwardly projecting reinforcing leg may engage a reinforcing leg of a sidewall reinforcing element positioned above the roof flange to further rigidify the construction.

A first side panel is pivotally coupled to the rear panel adjacent the first end, and a second side panel is pivotally coupled to the rear panel adjacent the second end. The extension apparatus further includes a side panel receiver securable to a selected one of the first or second side walls of the cargo-bed area to receive a portion of the selected one of the first or second side panels therein.

    Abstract: The automatic safety seat in a vehicle are designed to minimize the seriousness of car-crash injuries during a frontal collision. When the vehicle collides against other vehicle at a relative velocity of 40 Km/h or up, the backrest is pushed to recline backward by action of springs and various mechanisms designed. A tension spring is one of the most important part used to bring the backrest to a reclining position. Collision results in pulling the upper part of occupants fastened by designed safety-belts to the backrest to recline backwards to the rearmost. Thus, pelvis, chest and head of the occupant are moved away to the farmost and can avoid striking with deforming frontal parts of the intruding car by frontal collision. Chest injuries and brain damage can be avoided.

Powered means are mounted to a floor within the vehicle for rotating the seat assembly via the hinge assembly between an outwardly facing position, wherein the lift seat may be lifted or lowered by the lift means outside the vehicle, and an intermediate forwardly facing position inside the vehicle.

A pivotable trash door is positioned on the cab console to allow access to the inside of the trash container for disposing trash therein. The trash container is movable from a closed position to an open position. In the open position, the container is positioned in the area substantially in front of the passenger seat to allow access to the inside of the container for removing any accumulated trash. Slide rails attached to the container are capable of sliding along guide tracks attached to the cab console for moving the container from a closed to an open position, or vice versa. The trash container has a handle for grasping when being moved.

Parallel to the tensioning cylinders (1.1 and 1.2) a soft spring (piston-type accumulator 6) is connected so that at the beginning of the chain tensioning means being put under load only a minor pressure rise occurs in the tensioning cylinders (1.1 and 1.2).

The drain clip has a base part having an L-shaped cross section and provided in its outer surface with a drain groove formed so as to extend from one to the other end thereof. One of the legs of the drain clip is inserted between the flange of the body of the automobile and the weather strip put on the flange to form a drain passage connecting the internal space of the weather strip and the external environment.

The rear cross rail reinforces the rear part of the floor pan by increasing the thickness of metal at the rear part, i.e. the thickness at the rear part equals the combined thicknesses of the floor pan and rear cross rail, which increase thickness exists at the corner-like rear edge of the bed.
