  • Patent number: 10384807
Abstract: An assembly configured to prevent damage to an object during manufacture thereof is provided including a first housing having a substantially hollow interior. An exposed first planar surface of the first housing includes an inlet port and a plurality of small openings formed about the periphery. The inlet port, the hollow interior, and the plurality of small openings form a fluid flow path through the assembly. A second housing similar in size and shape to the first housing, has an exposed second planar surface. An intermediate layer is arranged between the first housing and the second housing. A cross-section of the intermediate layer is configured to change shape in response to a compression force applied thereto by the first housing and the second housing to form a seal separating an exterior portion of the object exposed to the plurality of small openings from an interior surface of the object.

  • Patent number: 10348968
Abstract: An optical section (3) and a lens holder (4) are fixed to each other in a state where the lens holder (4) is at an intermediate position within a movable range so that the optical section (3) does not come into contact with an image pickup section (10) in a case where the lens holder (4) is driven within the movable range. This makes it possible to provide (i) a camera module in which it is possible to reduce the influence of a tilt that occurs in the vicinity of an infinite-distance side mechanical end and also reduce the influence of a tilt that occurs at an intermediate position away from the infinite-distance side mechanical end and a macro side and in which image pickup lenses are attachable with high positional accuracy and (ii) a method for producing a camera module.

  • Patent number: 10344892
Abstract: A pipe processing tool that is configured to deform the end of a pipe so that the circumferential shape of the end of the pipe generally matches the circumferential shape of an adjacent pipe end. Matching the circumferential shapes of the pipe ends is advantageous during a pipe attachment process. The pipe processing tool can include a deformation ring with a plurality of pipe deformation members. Each pipe deformation member faces radially inward and is actuatable in a radial direction toward and away from the center of the deformation ring in order to permit engagement with the pipe. Each pipe deformation member is individually and separately actuatable from the other pipe deformation members so that the circumferential shapes of the pipes can be altered by controlling suitable ones of the pipe deformation members.

  • Patent number: 10348071
Abstract: A method of installing cable through material, for example, concrete, wood, masonry, plastic steel, or the like comprising a drill bit with a distal end having a hollow tip with an attachment mechanism for receiving the cable. The drill bit is drilled through the material, and left in place while the cable is attached to the proximal end of the drill bit. There is no need to remove the drill bit from the aperture or material to attach the cable thereto. After attachment to the drill bit, the cable is inserted through the aperture with the drill bit and removed from the drill bit after it passes through the material so it can be attached to a receiver device.

  • Patent number: 10335908
Abstract: A rotary table device for a machine tool includes a main shaft that is rotatably supported in an insertion hole formed in a frame; a table that is secured to an end side of the main shaft, and on which a workpiece, serving as an object to be processed, is mounted; a clamp piston that is provided so as to be movable in an axial direction of the main shaft in the insertion hole; and a bearing that is provided between the table and the frame, and that directly supports the table with respect to the frame. The main shaft has a clamp surface facing the table. A pressure chamber is defined by the frame and the clamp piston. When an operating fluid is supplied to the pressure chamber, the clamp piston is caused to press-contact the clamp surface, so that the table is brought into a clamped state.

  • Patent number: 10322921
Abstract: A one-piece board level shielding element with a top cover peel panel is secured to a circuit board to shield and provide access to a shielded component. The shielding element is formed with a top having a peel line to facilitate removal of the peel panel with a peel tool. Once the repair is completed, a new cover is put on to the remaining side-walls to reestablish the shielding. The shield top cover is formed with a peel tool insertion slot and an adjacent peel start slot. The peel panel is removed by a peel tool having a peel hook mounted to a cylindrical peel key that is inserted into the insertion slot and hooks the cover at the peel start slot. Upon rotating the peel key away from the peel start slot, the peel panel is easily removed. A fixture plate may be used to support the peel tool and assist in removal of the peel panel.

  • Patent number: 10322500
Abstract: A hinge pin extractor operable to urge a pin out of engagement with a hinge assembly can include a base, a receiver, a plunger, and a lever. The receiver can be mounted to the base to engage a portion of the hinge assembly. The plunger can be mounted to the base and configured to urge a pin of the hinge assembly out of engagement during movement from the first end limit of travel to the second end limit of travel. The lever can be pivotally engaged with the base and disposed to engage the plunger to move the plunger along the rectilinear path. The lever and the base and the plunger can be engaged such that pivoting motion of the lever is transmitted to rectilinear motion of the plunger through a single, fixed fulcrum positioned directly in the base.

  • Patent number: 10307900
Abstract: A quick connect liner latch system assembly (QCLL). The QCLL latches each joint of a slick line deployed liner together quickly and easily. This system can set an anchor in an existing well bore at a shallow depth and run a new liner in the well with a slick line unit using the QCLL system. It is a safer operation for the workers and environment and cost savings to the operator. The QCLL has two main sections that are locked together to form the full QCLL. The upper and lowers sections are locked together using a body lock ring. The units are not threaded together, which eliminates the need for a conventional rig for installation. The QCLL is unique because the inside diameter (ID) of the latch can remain large enough to accommodate a standard liner wiper plug for the weight of the liner being run into the well.

  • Patent number: 10312124
Abstract: A wafer table structure providing a single wafer table surface suitable for handling both wafers and film frames includes a base tray having a set of compartments formed therein by way of a set of ridges formed in or on an interior base tray surface; a hardenable fluid permeable compartment material disposed within the set of base tray compartments; and a set of openings formed in the base tray interior surface by which the hardened compartment material is exposable to negative or positive pressures. The base tray includes a first ceramic material (e.g., porcelain), and the hardenable compartment material includes a second ceramic material. The base tray and the compartment material are simultaneously machinable by way of a standard machining process to thereby planarize exposed outer surfaces of the base tray and the hardened compartment material at an essentially identical rate for forming a highly or ultra-planar wafer table surface.
