The child safety seat further comprises an electrical pivoting structure including a base pivoting member for electrically connecting to a base electrical device in the base, and a body pivoting member for electrically connecting to a body electrical device in the body. The base pivoting member is coupled to the base and has a base conductive part. The body pivoting member is coupled to the body and has a body conductive part. The base conductive part and the body conductive part are rotatably and electrically connected in the rotating shaft. The base electrical device and the body electrical device are electrically connected to each other via electrical connection of the base conductive part and the body conductive part.

The first roof unit includes a first tarpaulin, a tarpaulin stay for supporting the first tarpaulin, and a linkage rod for linkage of the tarpaulin stay. A middle portion of the tarpaulin stay is hinged with a first strut, one end of the tarpaulin stay is hinged with an end of the linkage rod and the other end of the tarpaulin stay is a free end, and the other end of the linkage rod is hinged with a second strut.

The wristband includes a plurality of openings for receiving a locking rivet and one or more openings for receiving one or more color-coded pins, a housing attached to the wristband, the housing having a pair of lugs with a slit, each lug extending from each side of the housing and adapted to receive the corresponding ends of the wristband inserted into the corresponding slits. The housing comprises a snap-on cover with at least a portion of the cover being transparent, a base, and a waterproof gasket insertable into the base. The snap-on cover is configured to be snapped on the base thereby creating a hermetically sealed waterproof structure. The housing also includes an information tag insertable into the housing and visible through the transparent portion of the housing.

Abstract: Techniques are described in which articles (e.g., security documents, traffic signage and personal protective equipment) are formed to include an infrared absorptive material. In some instances, the infrared absorptive material includes a reduced tungsten oxide, such as cesium tungsten oxide, calcium tungsten oxide, potassium tungsten oxide, or the like, and exposed to radiation such that one or more regions of the security document has a modified appearance, thereby providing a visual marking or information on the article. Example articles include at least one layer including a polymer and an infrared absorptive material including a reduced tungsten oxide. The layer includes a radiation-treated region that exhibits a first appearance under visible light and at least one non-radiation-treated region that exhibits a second, different appearance under visible light.

Abstract: A seat of a vehicle is designed for safety to reduce risk of injury to an occupant of the seat in the event of an abrupt movement or a collision involving the vehicle from the rear. The seat may have seatback geometry designed to promote coupling an occupant to the seat, thereby minimizing a gap between an occupant and the seatback and, therefore, the impact forces to the occupant in a rear-facing collision by reducing a relative velocity between the occupant and the seat, as well as absorbing energy of the occupant over a longer distance. The seat may include one or more materials that plastically deform under a force imparted on the seat by the occupant accelerating relative to and toward the seat during a vehicle collision. Cavities in the seat can be used, in some examples, to create a particular compressibility for optimizing impact.

The trim assembly is provided with a first trim panel, a second trim panel, and a structurally reinforced seam with piping along an intersection of the first trim panel and the second trim panel. Ornamental stitching is provided along an exterior length of the structurally reinforced seam and incrementally traverses the structurally reinforced seam to interconnect the first trim panel and the second trim panel along the structurally reinforced seam, and to provide an ornamental stitching appearance to the structurally reinforced seam.

Abstract: A child safety seat for use in a vehicle, the safety seat having a base including a rotating mechanism and a seat shell for a child that is detachably connectable to the base. The base is anchorable in the vehicle using either conventional safety belts or LATCH anchoring provisions. The base is configured to allow a conventional three-point occupant restraint to secure the base to the vehicle and to prevent interaction between the seat shell and the restraint belt. The seat shell, when connected to the base, may be rotated about a generally upstanding axis into forward-facing, rearward-facing, or side-facing configurations. The base includes a moveable wedge that allows the base to optimally fit a variety of vehicle seat having different seat cushion inclinations. The seat shell also includes a height-adjustable backrest portion that allows the seat configuration to be optimized for the occupant, even as the occupant child grows.

The arm is coupled to the base and rotates through release, tension and unloaded positions. The arm frictionally engages a vehicle belt disposed between the arm and the base. The belt is disengaged from the arm when the arm is disposed in the release position. The capture mechanism is movable between an engaged position in which the arm is precluded from moving into the release position, and a disengaged position in which the arm is free to move into the release position. When the arm is disposed in the tension position and the capture mechanism is disposed in the engaged position, the capture mechanism is precluded from moving into the disengaged position.

Abstract: The present application relates to an automotive tent for fastening to a vehicle. The tent includes a base for fastening to the vehicle. A retractable cover is provided for retracting during transport, and expanding from the base to define a sleeping space. Advantageously, the cover may be readily erected by expanding the cover from the base to define the sleeping space. The cover may be collapsible.
