Abstract: A packaging container for acupuncture needles capable of storing a plurality of acupuncture needles is provided. The packaging container (storage containers) in which the acupuncture needles to be used are stored can be opened at one time, according to the number of acupuncture needles to be used. On one end portion side of a packaging container (blister package) including a container body and a sheet member detachably attached to a planar surface of the container body, a free portion in which the sheet member is not attached to an outer frame portion of the container body, is disposed. Further, perforated lines (cut portions and uncut portions) are disposed along center lines of boundary portions from one end portion of the packaging container to the other end portion thereof. Here, the length of the uncut portion on the free portion is made longer than the length of each uncut portion on a portion other than the free portion.

Abstract: The carrier has a central vertical support panel structure, and a pair of foldable receptacles extending outwardly from opposite sides of the vertical support structure. The receptacles have automatically-opening bottom walls with symmetrical bottom panels which overlap to even-out the strength of the bottom walls and minimize areas of reduced strength. At least two opposed bottom panels are shaped to interlock with one another to hold the carrier open once it has been unfolded. Elongated, connected reinforcing flanges strengthen the carrier in the vertical direction.

Abstract: To provide a packing implement for goods transportation that facilitates packing in the transportation of the goods and is a combination of a baseboard and a holding sheet. The baseboard is a rectangular board for supporting an article to be transported at a fixed position, and has rising parts, falling parts and shape retaining parts. The rising parts are folded back upward from both end edges of a short side of the baseboard, the falling parts are folded back downward from both side edges of a long side of the baseboard, respectively, the falling part is constituted by a leg part orthogonal to the baseboard and a bottom part which is bent parallel with the baseboard, and a buffer space corresponding to a rising height of the leg part of the falling part is formed by the leg part bent so as to be orthogonal to the baseboard and the bottom part bent parallel with the baseboard.

Abstract: A semiconductor chip housing tray that is used in a state of being stacked in a plurality of stages and houses a plurality of semiconductor chips, includes: a base plate; a plurality of upper surface protruding parts provided to an upper surface of the base plate and dividing the upper surface of the base plate into a plurality of first semiconductor chip housing areas; and a plurality of under surface protruding parts provided to an under surface of the base plate and dividing the under surface of the base plate into a plurality of second semiconductor chip housing areas. In the semiconductor chip housing tray, a margin width of the first semiconductor chip housing areas with respect to the semiconductor chips is smaller than a margin width of the second semiconductor chip housing areas with respect to the semiconductor chips.

Abstract: A foldable carrier for beverages and other objects has a pair of folding receptacles extending outwardly from a central vertical support panel structure. Horizontal slits are formed in the side walls across two or four corners of the carrier, and the resulting horizontal strips of material are bent inwardly to form dividers for separating objects from one another in the receptacles. If the slits are positioned just below the upper edges of the side walls, bending the strips inwardly effectively forms compartments of reduced height to facilitate the accommodation of objects of varying height, and/or displaying additional areas of the beverage containers and their labels.

Abstract: A foldable carrier is provided with a vertical support panel structure made as a first component, and an external side wall structure as a second component. The vertical support panel structure and the external side wall structure are joined together to form two separate receptacles extending from opposite sides of said vertical panel structure to hold objects to be carried in the carrier. Preferably, the vertical support panel structure is made of an untreated and relatively inexpensive material, and the external side wall structure is made of a material treated to give it good resistance to weakening when wet.

Abstract: An element dispensing package suitable for dispensing adhesive strips or bandages. Each element is contained within an envelope formed by opposed upper and lower sheets. The lower sheet has a release liner secured thereto to protect the element while it is within the dispenser. The element is releasably secured to a first tab and is separated from the package when the envelope is opened. The first tab has one or more gripping means to facilitate dispensing of the element contained within the package. Additionally, the upper sheet and the lower sheet have optional gripping means (e.g., a second tab) to facilitate dispensing of the element contained within the package.

Abstract: In order to produce a packaging for a sink which has particularly good absorption properties and a low rate of transportation damage there is proposed a packaging for a sink which comprises at least one supporting body that is formed at least partly from a foamed plastic material and comprises at least one seating element incorporating a seating channel for an edge section of the sink, and an outer packaging whose interior accommodates the sink and the at least one supporting body, wherein the at least one supporting body extends over substantially the entire internal height of the interior of the outer packaging.

Abstract: A shipping system comprises an article of furniture and a packaging assembly. The packaging assembly includes a container and a protective insert. The container houses the article of furniture. The protective insert is disposed within the container and is positioned to help protect the article of furniture from damage. The protective insert has at least one convertible portion that is adapted to be removed from a surrounding portion of the protective insert, transition between a first configuration and a second configuration, and form at least a portion of an accessory product for the article of furniture when the convertible portion is in the second configuration.

Abstract: A packing tool for packing large articles such as image forming apparatuses has a pallet to place the article, and an article-fixing member to secure the article to the pallet. The article-fixing member is accommodated in an accommodating section in the pallet. When securing the article to the pallet, the article-fixing member is pulled out and wound around the article.

Abstract: A package comprises an outer package (2) having two members (20, 21) connected to one another via a flexible web portion (22). Each member (20, 21) comprises a base panel (200, 210) and two opposite side wall panels (201, 202, 211, 212). One of the side wall panels (201, 211) has an attachment (204, 214) portion extending towards the opposite side wall panel (202, 212). An inner package comprises blister pack members (3) comprising an edge portion (304, 314) attached to the attachment portion (204,214) of the outer package member (20, 21) such, that in a closed state the goods carried by the blister pack member are facing towards the base panel (200,210). The members (20,21) are folded towards each other via the flexible web portion (22). In an open state the outer package members (20, 21) are unfolded and the members (3) can be accessed by folding the blister pack member (30, 31) away from the opposite side (202, 212) wall panel.

Abstract: Packaging for reliably fixing an irregularly shaped ink ribbon unit includes few components, including a printing paper roll wound with printing paper, an ink ribbon unit having both a sending roll that is wound with an ink ribbon and a winding roll disposed in parallel to the sending roll, a container for holding the printing paper roll and ink ribbon unit, and a partition member that partitions the container into first and second storage regions, into which the printing paper roll and ink ribbon unit are respectively stored. The ink ribbon unit is arranged in such a manner that the direction of the shafts of the sending and winding rolls is parallel to the bottom surface of the second storage region, and the partition member extends with an inclination relative to a direction perpendicular to the bottom surface of the second storage region.

Abstract: The embodiments of the present invention provide a blank foldable material that may be configured to form a container. When formed, the container is self-locking and includes a rollover panel assemblies formed by spaced apart fold lines that forms bearing surfaces for vertically stacked containers. The container includes a inside taper that functions to prevent telescoping of vertically stacked container, and to hold the various corner panels in their proper location. The blank is configured to form a container that includes corners having multiple thicknesses for strength and stability. The container is self locking, easy us manufacture yet high strength.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a switch for use with an article formed from paperboard. The article includes a first panel and a second panel. The first panel and the second panel each have a sliding surface facing one another. The first and the second panels are in sliding relation to one another between a first position and a second position. The switch comprises a conductive pathway disposed on the sliding surface of the first panel and a first contact surface is disposed on the sliding surface of the second panel and a second contact surface is disposed on the sliding surface of the second panel. The second contact surface is in spaced relation to the first contact surface so as to prevent electrical communication between the first and second contact surfaces. The conductive pathway of the first panel is in spaced relation to at least one of the first and second contact surfaces of the second panel when the first and second panels are in the first position.

Abstract: A holder for a disk having a central opening includes a base, a forwardly projecting ring for supporting the disk, a diaphragm supported within the ring member, and a button structure projecting forwardly from the diaphragm for engaging the central opening. Retainer members project radially outwardly from the central opening proximate the front face surface for releasably holding the disk when the diaphragm member is in a relaxed position. Downward pressure on the button structure deflects the diaphragm to move the retainer members inwardly for releasing the disk. The retainer members are on hook stem members that are rigidly joined to an inner extremity of the diaphragm in radial alignment with circumferentially spaced ring attachment locations of the diaphragm. Button stem members rigidly connect a button member to the diaphragm in alternating circumferentially spaced relation to the hook stem members to provide greatly enhanced lateral support of the disk.

Abstract: A sharps container for safe storage of used pen needles comprises a housing within which is rotatably mounted a used pen needle receiving and ejecting means. Used pen needles are inserted into the receiving means. The receiving and ejecting means is rotated; during the rotation, cam follower means connected to the ejecting means engages cam means within the housing to cause the ejection of the used pen needle into the housing.

Abstract: A packaging method for sanitary items, the preferred embodiment of which is a diapering kit. In the diapering kit example, one or more diaper wipe(s) (12) are rolled around a disposal bag (10). The disposal bag folds back over the wipes, and a diaper (20) is rolled around it. The disposal bag is closed by a releasable closure (18), leaving the closed end of the disposal bag exposed, and folds back over the rolled diaper. A third reusable closure (22) closes the disposal bag at the other end of the rolled diaper, and the disposal bag folds back over the rolled diaper to the half-way point where it is closed tightly around the rolled diaper by a fourth releasable closure (32). Four additional item storage locations are created within the disposal bag, with potential for storing several different material types.

Abstract: An enclosure for securing a disc having a central aperture includes a base and a pivotable cover. A two part disc securing rosette has a first part on the base including at least two upstanding, circularly spaced apart segments with arcuate outer peripheral surfaces dimensioned for engaging the central aperture of a disc and a second part including at least two elongate, upstanding ribs extending radially from a position on the cover which is centered on the segments on the base, the number of ribs on the cover corresponding to the number of segments on the base, the ribs being positioned and dimensioned such that, when the enclosure is closed, the ribs on the cover enter the first part radially inwardly of the segments with the ribs contacting the radially inside surface of the corresponding arcuate segments for bracing the arcuate segments against breakage.

Abstract: A container suitable for storage of food and drink items is disclosed that allows for a quick visual check of whether the container has been properly and completely packed. The container also can be easily and inexpensively constructed from a single sheet of fiberboard. The container includes a base, wall sections, and a lid that is hingedly connected to one of the wall sections. The lid can include a handle and an aperture that allows the top of a drink bottle to extend out of the container. This provides a way to quickly verify the contents of the container.
