  • Patent number: 11804158
Abstract: In a projection-type display device including a liquid crystal panel where panel pixels are arranged in a first direction and a second direction, the polarity of the image signal supplied to each of all panel pixels is set to the same polarity in the same unit period among a plurality of unit periods, and the polarity of the image signal is reversed upon transition from the current frame period to the next frame period. The polarity of the image signal is reversed when a projection pixel is shifted by a light path shifting element unit in the first direction or in the second direction upon transition of the unit period, and the polarity of the image signal is not reversed when it is shifted along a third direction or a fourth direction that intersects the first direction and the second direction.

  • Patent number: 11803251
Abstract: A split wireless keyboard for communicating with a host device includes first and second keyboard halves. Each keyboard half communicates wirelessly with the host device to communicate that a key has been depressed or released. The keyboard halves communicate wirelessly with each other to signal key status changes. The two keyboard halves alternate serving as master and slave depending upon which keyboard half has most recently detected a change of key status, and only the keyboard half designated as the master actively communicates with the host. Wireless communications among the two keyboard halves and the host may use Bluetooth short-range wireless technology protocol. One keyboard half initially pairs with the host, and then shares a wireless link key with the other keyboard half during a setup phase. A Y-shaped hardwired connection cable may be used to interconnect the two keyboard halves to the host device instead of using wireless communications.

Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices are provided for mitigating visual artifacts by dynamically tuning bias voltages applied to display pixels. An electronic display may include a display pixel and a bias voltage supply. The bias voltage supply may supply a first bias voltage to the display pixel for a first subframe of a frame of image data. The bias voltage supply may supply a different second bias voltage to the display pixel for a second subframe of the frame of image data. This may mitigate certain image artifacts, such as flicker or variable refresh rate luminance difference, that could arise due to display pixel hysteresis that varies across subframes of the image frame.
