The eyeglass fillet fastener includes a connecting member and a sliding member, wherein one side of the connecting member has a fastening portion for fastening with the connecting hole, and the other side of the connecting member has a flexible positioning member and a pivoting portion, and the sliding member is pivoted in the pivoting portion by the flexible positioning portion, so that a user is able to move the position of the sliding member.

Abstract: A female buckle member is configured to securely mate with a male buckle member and adjustably retain webbing through multiple directions. The female buckle member may include a housing having first and second ends and first and second sides. A base of the housing may include a base connected to opposed lateral walls and an upper wall. An insertion channel is defined between the base, the opposed lateral walls, and an upper wall. The housing may be symmetrical about longitudinal and lateral axes. The first and second ends of the housing may have the same size and shape. The first and second ends are configured to receive an insertion end of a male buckle member. The female buckle member may also include a plurality of web-retainers that define a first web-retaining channel configured to adjustably retain webbing extending between the first and second ends, and a second web-retaining channel configured to adjustably retain webbing extending between the first and second sides.

Abstract: An improved hook and loop fastener system enables fastening to each other of two objects each provided solely with respective pluralities of flexible loops via an intermediate connection element that has two faces each provided solely with flexible hooks and is sandwiched between the two objects. The intermediate connection element can be easily removed and washed separately as needed, for example when either or both of the objects are to be washed with other fibrous objects, to eliminate the likelihood of the hooks inadvertently engaging with and ripping off any ambient fibers that could then clog the hooks and diminish their future performance. Selective retention of the intermediate connection element in engagement with only one of the two objects leaves the other object free of hooks and thus safely contactable by ambient objects that contain frangible fibers.

Abstract: An attachment system has a strap with a shank and a free end interposed by a medial portion. A retainer has an extension post facing the shank and engaged with the strap in a one way ratcheting relationship such that retainer may be urged toward the shank but not drawn away therefrom. The shank is sized to pass through an opening in a wall but is prevented from being withdrawn from the opening when the retainer is urged against the wall such that the extension post occupies at least a portion of the opening.

Abstract: A buckle and a method for preventing the buckle from being released by an impact are described. The buckle may include a frame, a tongue inserted into the frame and locked with the frame, an ejector provided in the frame to push the tongue outward from the frame, a holder that prevents the ejector from pushing the tongue outward from the frame by being displaced forward the ejector, thereby maintaining locking of the tongue, and a withdrawal prevention unit that prevents the holder from moving back beyond withdrawing and being displaced backward the ejector when an impact is applied from an outside of the frame, thereby preventing the locking of the tongue from being released by the impact.

Abstract: A device for securing cables having a first cable tie, a second cable tie and a releasable cable tie, wherein the first cable tie and the second cable tie are for permanently encompassing a single cable, and said releasable cable tie is for releasably encompassing a bundle of cables. The wire ties are connected by a pair of cross bars, and are intended to be affixed to the cable of an electrical appliance or the like for use in organizing the cable of the electrical appliance.

Abstract: A buckle system is provided having a mounting bracket and a mounting clip. The mounting bracket includes a bracket body, a slot and a groove and has a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, with the slot and the groove formed in the bracket body. The mounting clip includes a clip body, a latching mechanism and a tongue. The clip body is connected to the latching mechanism by the tongue, which is slid into the groove formed in the bracket body of the mounting bracket such that the latching mechanism is adjacent the first surface of the bracket body and the clip body is adjacent the second surface of the bracket body. A hook of the latching mechanism is received by the slot formed in the bracket body once the tongue of the mounting clip is slideably received into the groove of the mounting bracket.

Abstract: In a strap-band type connecting device (1), provided is a housing (4) work-hardened and has a bottomed frame (4c) having a frame portion (4b) and a bottom base (4a) in one piece. The housing (4) has a strength and rigidity higher enough to resist a torsional force (K) when a rod screw (9) is rotationally operated. Even when the rod screw (9) is rotationally operated accidentally with a magnitude more than an allowable amount of torque, it is possible for the housing (4) to resist the torsional force (K) with a sufficient strength insured, so as to keep the strap band (3) winding around the connection hose (2) in a favorable condition for an extended period of time.

Abstract: A seatbelt clamping device includes a U shaped housing configured for being mounted to vehicle structure and a shackle that is pivotally attached to the housing. The shackle can pivot between an open position for receiving a loop of seatbelt webbing and a closed position for retaining the seatbelt webbing. The housing includes a locking surface, and the shackle and locking surface define a gap therebetween through which the seatbelt webbing can slide. The shackle includes a shaft and a cam cover rotatable about the shaft. The cam cover includes an increased radius locking portion that can rotate toward the locking surface to clamp the seatbelt webbing in response to a load exerted thereon.

Abstract: A safety hook including a hook body, a latch member, a locking portion, and a control member is disclosed. The latch member is capable of rotating about a guide pin and swinging along a guide slot in an arc-shaped path to open or close a hook opening, wherein when the latch member locks and closes the hook opening, the locking portion and the guide pin form a locked chain structure to bear a lateral impact force on the latch member. When the latch member rotates about the guide pin and swings along the guide slot in an arc-shaped path to open or close the hook opening, the control member is capable of driving the locking edge to release the locking portion, so as to open the hook opening by a swinging movement of the latch member.

Abstract: A button restraint system involves a backing clip, an elastic band, and a specialty needle device and further describes a method of use thereof. The needle is used to route and secure the band through a fabric garment and through aperture portions of a button. The band is then secured to the backing clip to hold the button against the fabric. The system obviates the need for a conventional needle and thread to attach the button.

Abstract: A clip includes a pin; and a grommet including an insertion hole where the pin can be inserted, and forming a plurality of leg pieces by a slit provided in a length direction of a leg portion. In the clip, the grommet can spread portions by inserting the pin into the insertion hole. A prevention portion, which prevents a foreign matter such as gravel and the like from entering in, is provided at least in either one of the pin or the grommet (for example, the pin). The prevention portion may be positioned in one portion of an insertion leg of the pin, or positioned in one portion of the leg piece of the grommet, or provided to extend along a length direction of the slit from a lower surface of a flange of the grommet.

Abstract: A magnetic strap fastener for use with existing strapped articles without modification is presented. The fastener includes first and second fastener parts for attaching to a complementary engagement arrangement on first and second strap ends. The first and second fastener parts are detachably engageable with each other by magnetic coupling or attraction and include complementary engagement devices for detachable engagement with the corresponding complementary engagement arrangement on the strap ends. Such a fastener is advantageous because it offers the benefits of magnetic fasteners and is at the same time readily attachable to an article having strap ends with an existing pair of complementary engagement devices.

Abstract: A security seal 10 comprises a strap portion 12 made of plastic and a lock portion 14 attached to the strap portion. The lock portion 14 includes a metal jaw with an aperture. In use, the strap portion 12 is guided into the lock portion 14 and pulled to provide an interference fit between the lock portion 14 and the strap portion 12. The security seal 10 deters tampering since efforts to pull the strap portion 12 will either result in snapping of the strap portion 12 or visible stress-induced damage to the strap portion 12.

Abstract: A cable tie has a flexible, elongated strap with a head and tail at opposite ends. The strap has two opposed sides, with teeth on both sides. The head includes an opening for receiving the strap, a movable pawl with teeth on one side of the opening and, on the opposite side of the opening, an abutment surface having an abutment tooth. The head may include a molding line adjoining the apex of the abutment tooth. The cable tie may be used to retain articles by looping the strap around the articles, and inserting the strap, tail first, into the opening, whereby the pawl teeth and abutment teeth may be brought into engagement with the teeth on the two opposed sides, respectively, at least when retraction force is applied to the strap, such as to lock the strap in the head, preventing retraction of the strap from the head.

A slider for a concealed slide fastener comprises a slider body having at least a lower blade, left and right side wall portions and left and right first flanges, and slider upper plate member engaged with the slider body and having at least a second flange projecting toward at least the left and right side wall portions.

Abstract: A leash attachable animal excrement bag holder has a carabineer for engaging a leash, body-supported apparel or the like, a flexible, resilient and open-biased support hoop, and a bag suspended from the support hoop. A slide has a body and first and second holes passing entirely through. The first hole encompasses the support hoop at a first distinct location and the second hole encompasses the support hoop at a second distinct location. The slide operatively traverses the support hoop and thereby alters a bias of the support hoop from an open orientation suitable to receive or remove animal excrement bags to a more nearly closed orientation suitable to retain animal excrement bags. A coupling engages the support hoop with the carabineer.
