  • Patent number: 12472441
Abstract: A computer-implemented method, system and computer program product for recording information in a user interface of an application more desired to be seen and heard by viewers. A user interface of an application (e.g., gaming application) is displayed. Upon detecting an initiation of recording the user interface of the application, the user interface of the application is modified to ensure that the information desired to be viewed and heard by the viewers is recorded, such as by adjusting a size of a user interface element, adjusting an audio element of the user interface, etc. After such modifications, the modified user interface of the application is recorded and broadcasted to viewers via a video live streaming service. In this manner, viewers are able to see and hear information desired to be viewed and heard that may have been previously lost during the recording of the user interface prior to such modifications.

  • Patent number: 12364643
Abstract: A self-flying hands-free massage apparatus includes: a drone or quad-copter component, configured to autonomously fly and hover in air; multiple video cameras that capture live video of the surroundings; and a processor that performs real-time computer vision analysis of live video, to guide the apparatus at which directions to fly and where to remain hovering. The self-flying apparatus remains hovering approximately 50 to 100 centimeters from a Target Body-Region, such as shoulders or upper-back of a human. A telescopic arm extends from the hovering apparatus, and pivots or rotates to bring an affixed electric massage unit towards the Target Body-Region, for massaging it. Tactile sensors detect touch, and assist in confirming that autonomous hands-free massaging is indeed performed. Data sensed by LIDAR sensors and thermal imagers assists in commanding the self-flying apparatus and its telescopic arm, and augments data obtained by computer vision analysis of live video from the video cameras.

  • Patent number: 12353628
Abstract: Method starts with processor causing virtual reality (VR) interface for communication session to be displayed on first user interface of a first head-wearable apparatus and on second user interface of second head-wearable apparatus. Processor detects first touch input from first VR input device and second touch input from second VR input device. Processor monitors location of the first touch input within the first user interface and location of the second touch input within second user interface. Processor determines distance between location of the first touch input within first user interface and location on first user interface corresponding to location of second touch input within second user interface. Processor causes first and second VR input devices to generate haptic feedback response based on the distance. Haptic feedback response increases in intensity or speed as distance decreases and decreases in intensity or speed as distance increases. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Patent number: 12327012
Abstract: Techniques for configuring layouts and display view hierarchies and presenting display views in an operating environment of a process plant according to the layouts and display view hierarchies include providing graphical user controls at a graphical display configuration application for defining a layout. The layouts indicate a manner in which divide one or several display screens into one or several display regions, where each display region presents a display view that includes indications of process control elements. The graphical display configuration application also includes graphical user controls for defining a display view hierarchy of the display views by assigning levels of detail to the display views and designating some of the display views as subviews of other display views. An operator application obtains the defined layout and display view hierarchy and presents the display views at an operator workstation according to the obtained layout and/or display view hierarchy.

  • Patent number: 12276427
Abstract: A control knob for an appliance deploys a round bezel region that surround a fixed electronic display panel that is touch sensitive. The appliance state or operating condition is modified by the user rotating the bezel and selecting graphic user interface (GUI) icons on the electronic display. The bezel orientation modifies the GUI to display icons that operate the appliance in different modes. In a first mode of power control, the GUI displays power levels and the bezel orientation modifies the power level. In a second mode, the GUI displays temperature settings and the bezel orientation modifies the temperature. The GUI displays icons that when activated switch between the first and second mode as well as turn off the appliance. Another icon may activate a third mode that enables control and display of other settings, such as temperature units, time and date, count down timers and the like.
