Abstract: An applicator device for a film forming formulation and method of using the applicator device with a film forming formulation for obtaining sharp paint lines on textured surfaces is described. The applicator device comprises an applicator head having an adaptor and a supply reservoir having a neck for attachment to the adaptor of the applicator head. The applicator head comprises a brush comprised of aligned bristles with the bristles affixed in a brush retainer, a brush reservoir within the brush retainer for holding the film forming formulation within the applicator head, a flow orifice to provide flow of the film forming formulation to the brush reservoir, and an adaptor for attachment to a neck of the supply reservoir for supplying the film forming formulation.

A lid is coupled to an upper portion of a container body, a pressing button is mounted at an inner upper portion of the lid, a spuit bulb is formed under the pressing button to discharge and suck a cosmetic material, a spuit tube is coupled to a lower portion of the spuit bulb, a coupling part of the flocking tip is formed at a lower end portion of the spuit tube to be coupled to the flocking tip, a temporal storage is formed in the flocking tip to temporarily store the cosmetic material, and the temporal storage is formed therein with a distribution hole. The pressing and then releasing operation of the pressing button by a user operate the spuit bulb so that the spuit tube sucks the cosmetic material stored in the container body.

Abstract: A device for applying or removing nail polish or nail art has a replaceable cartridge with a distal end removably coupleable to a proximal end of a handle. The cartridge has a reservoir that contains a liquid, such as nail polish or nail polish remover and a flow control member (e.g., valve) actuatable to allow flow of the liquid out of the distal end of the cartridge. The handle has a flow path therethrough that extends between its proximal end to an applicator implement (e.g., brush, sponge) attached to its distal end, the flow path in fluid communication with the flow control member when the cartridge is coupled to the handle. Selective actuation of the flow control member by the user (e.g., by squeezing the cartridge) allows fluid to flow out the reservoir and through the flow path in the handle to the applicator implement for application of the fluid by the user to a finger or toe nail.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for applying a fluid onto a number of surfaces. In one illustrative example, an apparatus may comprises a base having a number of channels, a number of flexible members extending from the base, and an applicator extending from the base on a same side as the number of flexible members. A flexible member in the number of flexible members may have a fluid channel connected to at least one of the number of channels in the base to allow a fluid flowing through the number of channels to flow out of the fluid channel. The applicator may be configured to apply the fluid flowing out of the number of flexible members onto a number of surfaces.

Abstract: A compact ballpoint pen in which a bar of a push button is split into left and right bars and thus an ink cartridge can be inserted into a space between the split bars. Thus, the length of a ballpoint pen is reduced.

Abstract: A method of making a delivery device for therapeutic agent, drug or vaccine. The method includes providing a flat panel wafer, forming a plurality of reservoirs, with each reservoir defining a cavity, within the flat panel wafer, and attaching a cover layer across the plurality of reservoirs. The method also includes filling the plurality of reservoirs with at least one of a therapeutic agent, drug, and vaccine to form a plurality of filled reservoirs, and providing a housing portion adjacent each of the plurality of filled reservoirs to form a composed layer. The method also includes separating the composed layer into a plurality of delivery devices, wherein each delivery device includes a reservoir. The delivery device may be suitable for self-injection use.

Abstract: Lip balm strip is a sheet of material that conveniently dispenses lip balm. A section of the lip balm strip is not covered in lip balm which provides a clean surface for the user to hold on to. The balm covered side of the strip is placed in the mouth. The user then presses their lips down and slides the strip through their lips to apply the lip balm. There is a smooth edge on this side of the strip provided to prevent injury to the mouth. The lip balm strip is individually wrapped to preserve the strip for re-use and is disposable. Other variations and features are described.

Abstract: A feeding pencil includes a main body, a leading tube, a middle tube, and a ratchet mechanism. The middle tube is engaged to the leading tube to be relatively rotatable. A relative rotation between the leading tube and the main body in one direction moves a drawing material forward. The ratchet mechanism allows the relative rotation between the leading tube and the main body in the one direction, and regulates the relative rotation in another direction. The ratchet mechanism includes an elastic projecting part and a concave-convex part. The concave-convex part engages with the elastic projecting part to be movable in an axial direction and rotatable. A protrusion disposed at a center tube removably engages with an annular convex part disposed at an outer surface of the leading tube in the axial direction.

Abstract: A method of providing a visual indication of depletion of an oral care fluid. In one aspect, the method provides a visual indication of depletion of an oral care fluid contained within a reservoir of an oral care implement having a delivery member formed of a capillary material. The method includes: a) providing an indicator fluid in the reservoir with the oral care fluid, the oral care fluid being a different color than the indicator fluid and immiscible with respect to the indicator fluid; and b) upon depletion of the oral care fluid from the reservoir, delivering the indicator fluid to a visible portion of the deliver member.

Abstract: An applicator assembly includes a plurality of ampoules formed of a frangible material and containing liquid to be applied, a container having a proximal end, a distal end, and an interior portion defining a chamber adapted to receive the plurality of ampoules, an application member attached to the distal end of the container; and at least one actuator projecting from the container, wherein the at least one actuator is actuatable to independently fracture the plurality of ampoules, thereby independently releasing the liquid into the application member. The at least one actuator may be moveable from a first position to a second position, the applicator having a smaller profile when the actuator is in the second position than when the actuator is in the first position.

Abstract: A character-shaped porous mitt for housing and dispensing soap comprised of an outer body formed from terry cloth or similar material and a sponge-like material lining an interior cavity containing a soap pocket in which to hold bar or liquid soap that is fastened using a hook-and-loop fastener. An area at the mouth, the body or the rear of the mitt through which the bar of soap or the liquid soap can be received and housed until the soap mixes with water to produce a rich lather with which to cleanse a user's body. Finger pockets or loops are configured to receive the fingers of a user to allow the user to securely hold the mitt, even in the presence of rich lather. A rough-textured portion of the outer body provides added friction between the outer body and skin of a user to allow the user to scrub or exfoliate his or her skin.

Abstract: A pen system comprising a cover member joined to an adapter having an anterior end of an ink cartridge disposed therein is disclosed. A pen housing covers the ink cartridge and is sealed via a plug. In one embodiment, a slit divides a surface of the adapter to allow a collapse of the adapter, thus narrowing a height of the adapter, to allow insertion of the adapter into the cover member. A first and second annular groove are disposed at a center of the adapter, where each annular groove interfaces with a cover member annular ridge to define an open and closed position of the pen. In an alternate embodiment, an annular washer having an annular ridge is disposed in the cover member, in place of the cover member annular ridge, to interface with the first and second annular groove thus defining the open and closed positions of the pen.
