  • Patent number: 10608935
Abstract: The present application provides a packet sending method and a network device. The packet sending method includes: receiving, by a network device, a first data packet; and if a MAC entry matching a destination MAC address of the first data packet is not found in a media access control MAC address table of the network device, sending, by the network device, the first data packet according to a forwarding behavior in a MAC default entry of the MAC address table. When the MAC entry matching the destination MAC address of the first data packet is not found, the network device does not need to flood the first data packet on all interfaces, but directly sends the first data packet according to the MAC default entry in the own MAC address table, thereby reducing a need for MAC address capacity in the network device, and not increasing unnecessary network traffic.

  • Patent number: 10389615
Abstract: In one embodiment, enhanced packet flow monitoring is performed by packet switching devices in a network. A packet switching device is configured to monitor a flow of packets passing through the packet switching device, including detecting a gap in consecutive packets of the flow of packets, and attributing the gap as not being dropped one or more packets based on a particular time duration between a last received packet of the flow of packets before said detected gap and a first received packet of the flow of packets after said detected gap. In one embodiment, the gap is attributed to not being dropped packets when the particular time duration is greater than a threshold value; and conversely, attributed to being dropped packets when the particular time duration is less than a same or different threshold value.

  • Patent number: 10123371
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to methods and system for managing communication of packets. A transceiver node receives a plurality of IP data packets from an internet protocol (IP) network. The transceiver node separates the IP data packets into a first set and a second set of IP data packets, according to channel conditions of a cellular network and a wireless local area network (WLAN). The transceiver node transmits, to a user device, the first set of IP data packets using a cellular network protocol of the cellular network and the second set of IP data packets using a WLAN protocol of the WLAN, causing the user device to aggregate the first set of IP data packets transmitted using the cellular network protocol with the second set of IP data packets transmitted using the WLAN protocol.

  • Patent number: 10075957
Abstract: Disclosed are a wireless communication base station device and a division number determination method that improve the frequency diversity effect while maintaining channel estimation accuracy regardless of the number of divisions in the frequency domain of a transmission signal from a wireless communication terminal device. A determination unit determines the number of divisions in the frequency domain of a transmission signal from a wireless communication terminal device. Here, the determination unit increases the number of divisions in the frequency domain of the transmission signal from the wireless communication terminal device as the number of pilot blocks included in the transmission signal increases. In addition, a scheduling unit schedules allocation to the frequency resources of the divided transmission signal according to the number of divisions determined by the determination unit.
