  • Patent number: 6027087
Abstract: A telescoping tube assembly of adjustable lengths comprising two or more elongated tubular members with a locking mechanism designed to retain the tubular members and desired relative relationship one to another. The locking mechanism includes a truncated conical expander head with a cylindrical body segment and a conical tip segment, with the expander head functioning cooperatively with a radially expanded frictional break member. A square head (or head of other non-circular configuration), is used to cause relative rotation between the conical expander head and the radially expanding brake member. Annular hinges are provided between the cap portion and the radially expanding friction shoes of the break member, with the integral annular hinges flexing in opposite directions to provide broader area of contact between the internal peripheral of the tubular member and the outer surfaces of the frictional break member.

  • Patent number: 6024332
Abstract: A basket that can be clamped to a boat's gunwale is used to hold the gear when it is not in use. The basket is large enough to hold the fishing weights and line while a hook is baited, or while the boat is moved. A large spring clip is used to secure the basket to the boat. The clip can be opened to fit over the rail of a boat and be closed over the gunwale. Set screws secure the clip to the boat for use. The basket is a piece of canvas, or similar material, that is suspended between the clips. When the clips are opened and secured over the rail of the boat, the canvas is stretched forming a curved bowl-shaped surface that can hold fishing gear. Once the basket is removed from the boat, the clip closes, folding up the canvas basket for storage.

  • Patent number: 6024331
Abstract: A holder bracket for securing a hand shower to a stationary rod centered on a rod axis has a support body having structure forming a forwardly open seat for the hand shower and formed with a throughgoing laterally closed passage through which the rod passes and, to one side of the axis, with at least one rib bearing radially on the rod. A retaining element mounted on the support body to the other side of the axis bears radially on the rod opposite to the rib. A compressible member engaged between the retaining element and the body presses the element radially against the body and thereby compresses the rod between the element and the rib.

  • Patent number: 6019328
Abstract: A stay-put pegboard accessory with a support member/s, having "L" hook/s, fastened to restraining member/s consisting of vertical restraint/s having either a short or a long stub. The "L" hook/s is inserted into an aperture opening of a pegboard with the support member/s carrying the load of a tool or object. Any force acting on the support member/s while removing the load will be resisted with the "L" hook/s and the restraining member/s preventing the stay-put pegboard accessory from being pulled off the pegboard. The short or long stub on the restraining member/s will prevent any twisting of the support member. The long stub on the restraining member will resist an upward force on the load support.
