  • Patent number: 11315221
Abstract: A method and apparatus is provided to perform medical imaging in which feature-aware reconstruction is performed using a neural network. The neural network is trained to perform feature-aware reconstruction by using a training dataset in which the target data has a spatially-dependent degree of denoising and artifact reduction based on the features represented in the image. For example, a target image can be generated by reconstructing multiple images, each using a respective regularization parameter that is optimized for a different anatomy/organ (e.g., abdomen, lung, bone, etc.). And a target image can be generated using artifact reduction method (e.g. metal artifact reduction, aliasing artifact reduction, etc.). Then respective regions/features (e.g., abdomen, lung, and bone, artifact free, regions/features) can be extracted from the corresponding images and combined into a single combined image, which is used as the target data to train the neural network.

  • Patent number: 11308330
Abstract: Provided are a method and a device for constructing autonomous driving test scenes, a terminal and a readable storage media. Primitive scenes are extracted from real traffic scenes to establish a primitive scene description model. The values of the description variables are selected from distribution intervals of the description variables of the primitive scenes, and the description variables are randomly sampled based on the distribution of the description variables to generate test primitive scenes by adopting an importance sampling based Monte Carlo method. The test primitive scenes are recombined according to the parameters of the elements of the test scene to generate the test scene. The present invention can directly simulate the actual complex system, so as to avoid the result distortion caused by the simplification of the complex system.

  • Patent number: 11282367
Abstract: A system includes video cameras arranged to monitor a vulnerable person, and a processor system that receives video frames from the video cameras, the processor system comprising a processor and a non-transitory, computer-readable storage medium having machine instructions executed by the processor. The processor detects and identifies objects in a current received video frame, classifies an identified object as the person by applying a facial recognition algorithm that identifies the person, determines a posture of the person by identifying joints, limbs, and body parts, and their respective orientations to each other and to a plane, and immediately discards the current video frame. The processor then determines a change in motion, of the person, between the current received video frame and one or more prior received video frames, and, based on the determined posture and the change in motion, determines that the person has experienced a defined event.

  • Patent number: 11270102
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques for providing instructions when receiving biometric data associated with a user. For instance, an electronic device may detect a portion of a user, such as a hand. The electronic device may then determine locations of the portion of the user relative to the electronic device. Based on the locations, the electronic device may cause a visual indicator to provide instructions to the user for placing the portion of the user at a target location relative to the electronic device. For example, the visual indicator may emit light indicating that the portion of the user is off-centered, angled, too low, and/or too high. After providing the instructions and determining that the portion of the user is at the target location, the electronic device may capture at least an image of the portion of the user and use the image to identify an account.
