Abstract: A retractable cable device is disclosed. The housing has a receiving space, and the winding spool has a first spool disk and a spring receiving space. The first spool disk includes a receiving groove and a spool shaft. The communication cable is wound around the spool shaft so that an inner winding is formed. One end of the communication cable passes through the first spool disk of the winding spool so that the communication cable is respectively positioned at the receiving groove and the spool shaft of the first spool disk. Both ends of the communication cable protrude the housing of the retractable cable device. The spiral spring is positioned at the spring receiving space of the winding spool, and one end of the spiral spring is coupled to the winding spool and the other end of the spiral spring is coupled to the housing of the retractable cable device.
Abstract: A clamp has an annular strap section enclosing an interior space and defining an opening between opposite ends of the strap section. A pair of insertion engagement sections are at opposite ends of the strap section. The insertion engagement sections stand outwardly and oppose each other at opposite ends of the opening. Each insertion engagement section includes an axle plate portion projecting from an end of the opening. A wing portion is bent down from a distal end of the axle plate portion. A stepped latching portion is formed on a distal end of the wing portion. A dimension of the opening is set to be narrower than a diameter of a wire harness to be contained in the interior space. The clamp contains the wire harness in the interior space while the annular strap section is elastically bent outwardly to widen the opening.
Abstract: The invention is directed to a housing, in particular for an electric appliance, having a housing part (1) with a noncircular cross section closed by a detachable housing bottom (3). The housing bottom (3) includes an outer bottom (4) and an inner bottom (5) mounted for rotation in the outer bottom (4). In a closed condition, the inner bottom (5), the housing part (1) and the outer bottom (4) are joined together in particular by positive engagement.

Abstract: A transport and storage container for liquids with a pallet-like underframe of an electrically conductive material, an exchangeable inner container of synthetic material with four side walls, a bottom wall and a top wall, a closable inlet opening at the top and a lower outlet opening with a draining device, and an outer casing formed of grating or sheet metal. The transport and storage container for liquids further includes a grounding member of an electrically conductive material, preferably metal, arranged in the passage opening of the discharge device between the discharge valve of the discharge device and the inner container, wherein the grounding member is connected to an electrically conductive connecting element, preferably a screw of metal with a grounding connection to the underframe of the container, wherein the connecting element is introduced from the outside.
Abstract: A connector for facilitating the connection of electrical conduit or cable to junction box, which is fashioned from a single piece of material, and features a saddle member and rolled throat that are integral parts of the connector. Abstract: An improved snap-in connector incorporating a liner or insert for the outbound end of the snap-in connector that comprises a generally cylindrical body having an outer periphery and inbound and outbound ends is described. The insert includes at least two, preferably three and most preferably four tabs that extend outwardly from the outer periphery of the inbound end and engage cast-in recesses in the inner periphery the outbound end of the snap-in connector. Also extending outwardly from the outer periphery of the liner or insert at points between the inbound and outbound ends of the liner or insert, and radially offset from the first set of tabs, is a second set of tabs, and preferably four in number that engage the outermost outbound end surface of the snap-in connector.
Abstract: A fire-rated, poke-through floor fitting preferably for use in a three inch diameter bore within a floor. The fitting has an electrical receptacle that is sized to fit within the three inch bore. The receptacle preferably has two pairs of electrical outlets coupled to the electrical receptacle along with four voice/data jacks. The fitting provides a high number of electrical outlets and voice/data jacks, while maintaining a relatively low profile and easy accessibility. Each pair of electrical outlets can be separately connected to different power sources or each pair can be connected to the same power source.
Abstract: A positioning cylinder to close positioning holes in both the upper and lower casings of a branching junction box so as to prevent dirt and moisture from entering. The positioning cylinder is preferably integral with the upper casing and hollow so as to allow it to fit over a positioning pin employed as a locator during the assembly of the junction box. The positioning cylinder not only closes the holes that are in the upper and lower casing of the junction box, but also stabilizes the busbar substrates that are in the junction box and provides for a more integral and secure junction.
Abstract: A method of and a meter box apparatus for connecting a electrical service lateral to a misaligned meter box mounted on the exterior of a building structure such as a residence are disclosed. The meter box apparatus comprises a rectangular box-like enclosure with a removable bottom panel having a knock-out which can be placed over the misaligned service lateral and affixed to a conduit carrying the service lateral. The bottom panel is then urged into position in the meter box by flexing the conduit and is fastened in place to provide a neat, professional-looking connection.
Abstract: A wiring board construction includes at least one microvia disposed in a base substrate and includes a deep imprinted cup shaped recess in the top surface thereof. A conductor material is disposed within the recess, and has a portion disposed at the bottom thereof. A conductor disposed at a bottom surface of the substrate opposite to the conductor material bottom portion helps to complete an electrically conductor path through the substrate to help complete an electrically conductive path through the substrate.
