  • Patent number: 8988384
Abstract: A force sensor interface in a touch controller of a touch sensitive device is disclosed. The force sensor interface can couple to touch circuitry to integrate one or more force sensors with touch sensors of the device. The force sensor interface can include one portion to transmit stimulation signals generated by the touch circuitry to the force sensors to drive the sensors. The interface can also include another portion to receive force signals, indicative of a force applied to the device, from the force sensors for processing by the touch circuitry. The device can use the touch circuitry to concurrently and seamlessly operate both the force sensors and the touch sensors.

  • Patent number: 8446358
Abstract: There is provided an image display device capable of obtaining a renewed screen giving normal feelings by simple LUT (Look Up Table) adjustment even at a time of displaying with multiple gray levels. A screen of the electronic paper section making up the display device is renewed by driving for a period of time corresponding to a plurality of frames according to input gray level data of a renewed screen. The renewed screen is displayed with a coarse gray level during a first displaying period in a renewing period corresponding to a plurality of frames at an output voltage specified by a high-order bit of its gray level data and, thereafter, is displayed with a fine gray level during a second displaying period in the renewing period at an output voltage specified by a low-order bit of its gray level data.

  • Patent number: 8184065
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are provided for efficiently controlling source computers connected to a display system. A control computer is connected to one or more source computers and video output is shown on a display system. A mouse and associated input devices may operate in video processor mode or source computer mode based on mouse x-coordinate and y-coordinate position information. Other modes such as control computer mode are also possible. In particular instances, a mouse and associated input devices operate in source computer mode to control a particular source computer when the mouse pointer position resides within one of the source computer windows. A mode of operation may switch based on a change in mouse position.
