Abstract: This application discloses an information processing apparatus that searches for a business process using (i) user-selected one or more task features and (ii) user-selected one or more document features as search conditions, and presents the search result. The user-selected one or more task features are features of tasks in a particular business process, and the user-selected one or more document features are features of documents generated in the tasks of the particular business process.

Abstract: A method and a system for recommendation of a succession of one or more services for a service workflow are disclosed. In an embodiment, a query is received to retrieve one or more services from a repository of a plurality of services stored in a hierarchical structure. The hierarchical structure comprises a plurality of hierarchical levels, each hierarchical level in the plurality of hierarchical levels comprising a set of nodes. Each node in the set of nodes in each hierarchical level, stores a first semantic information and a second semantic information. Further, the query is compared with the first semantic information and the second semantic information associated with a first node. The first node or the second node is selected based on the comparison. Further, the first set of services or the combination of services, associated with the selected node is recommended, as the service workflow, to the user.

Abstract: The present invention is an improvement to a computer system for processing, storing and searching DICOM medical imaging objects and non-DICOM files. The improvement is the addition of a directory manager, a user interface and a search manager that allows users to define a hierarchy of directories that link to both DICOM and non-DICOM files. Contents of files are indexed, including metadata so they are searchable. The system automatically creates directories representing DICOM series and studies by analyzing metadata in DICOM image files DICOM devices can send DICOM data directly to directories in the file system using the DICOM protocol.

Abstract: Signature-based cache optimization for data preparation includes performing a first set of sequenced data preparation operations on one or more sets of data to generate a plurality of transformation results. It further includes caching one or more of the plurality of transformation results and one or more corresponding operation signatures, a cached operation signature being derived based at least in part on a subset of sequenced operations that generated a corresponding result. It further includes receiving a specification of a second set of sequenced operations. It further includes determining an operation signature associated with the second set of sequenced operations. It further includes identifying a cached result among the cached results based at least in part on the determined operation signature; and outputting the cached result.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for grouping and sharing images are disclosed. A sequence of media data entities that include at least one digital image frame is obtained. The least one digital image frame includes an optical machine-readable code that includes a contextual collection identifier and a sharing destination. The contextual collection identifier and the sharing destination from the optical machine-readable code is identified and a contextual collection is created based on the contextual collection identifier. Subsequent media data entities are added to the contextual collection, a selection of media data entities to be shared in the sharing destination are received, and the media data entities to the sharing destination are uploaded based on the selection.

Abstract: Using a step editor for data preparation includes receiving an indication of a user input with respect to at least some of a set of sequenced data preparation operations on a set of data. It further includes generating, using one or more processors, a signature based at least in part on the set of sequenced data preparation operations, references to the set of data, and the user input. It further includes using the generated signature to determine whether there exists a cached result associated with the set of sequenced data preparation operations, the references to the set of data, and the user input. Abstract: A system and method for document management are provided in which documents are managed in a file/document sharing system. The document management system imports a file owned by a human user into the document management system by transferring ownership of the file from the human user to the document management system and setting access permissions in the public file system for the imported file.

Abstract: Linking of a child table to a parent table in a database system. For a given parent table row, an expression associated with the particular row is identified. The expression may be a semantic expression that comprises something different than or more than an equals expression or a contains expression. The expression might also take as input a field of the parent table other than the primary key of the parent table. For each of multiple (and potentially all) rows of a child table, the expression is evaluated against a foreign key of the corresponding row of the child table. If the foreign key matches the expression, an association is created, and perhaps saved, between the foreign key and the particular row of the parent table. The expressions may differ even down to the granularity of a single row in the parent table, thereby enabling perhaps custom per-row expressions.

Abstract: Techniques for providing a supplementary information component to search results are provided. A search engine computer provides search results in response to the search query. The computer then identifies some interest in an item from the search results, then may generate and provide the supplementary information component.

Abstract: Present invention discloses a location specific personal organizer system for communication devices. Personal organizer, as a combined application with contact list of communication device or as a stand alone application; is provided with means to link task with anticipated location and corresponding GPS coordinates. Means is provided in GPS enabled communication device to determine if any task in personal organizer is due at its current location. Task due at current location is displayed on communication device. According to another aspect of the invention means is disclosed to auto fill information into data fields of contact list entry in communication device in response to information provided in a unique identifier data field of contact list entry.

Abstract: A system for managing data using purging includes an input interface and a processor. The input interface is to receive an indication of a data object to be purged. The processor is to prepare the data object to be purged, which includes severing weak relations of the data object as of a purge prepare time. Preparing the data object to be purged transitions the data object from an operational state to a purge prepared state. The weak relations of the data object are relations to non-purge data objects of an object tree. The data object in a purge prepared state is monitored for access. In response to a detection of an attempt to access the data object, reinstate the data object, which includes rebuilding the weak relations. Reinstating the data object transitions the data object from the purge prepared state to the operational state.

Abstract: In various example embodiments, systems and methods for providing category aspect information by mining historical data is provided. In example embodiments, a table comprising joined data is accessed. The table includes historical data that comprises user behavior data based on actions performed with past queries by users, data describing publication, and a determined category for each publication. Demand scores based on the joined data are determined. The determined demand scores are used to determine most relevant aspect name and aspect value pairs for a category. Publications having at least one of the most relevant aspect name and aspect value pairs are displayed visually distinguished from less relevant publications that exclude the most relevant aspect name and aspect value pairs.

Abstract: A method of generating a recommended subset of items for a user of an electronic device is disclosed. The method is executed at a server and comprises identifying a first subset of items within a set of potentially recommendable items based on item features of items within the set of potentially recommendable items. The method also comprises acquiring a request for the recommended subset of items and identifying a second subset of items within the set of potentially recommendable items based on user events associated with the user. Each item within the second subset of items is different from any item within the first subset of items. The method also comprises generating the recommended subset of items which comprises at least some items from the first subset of items and at least some items from the second subset of items.

Abstract: A process of discovering psychographic segments of consumers with unsupervised machine learning. A first set of consumer-behavior is converted into respective consumer-behavior vectors for training an unsupervised machine learning model. The unsupervised machine learning model is trained with the first set of consumer-behavior vectors to determine psychographic segments of consumers. A second set of consumer-behavior records is obtained after determining the psychographic segments of consumers and the second set of consumer-behavior records is converted into respective consumer-behavior vectors. The second set of consumer-behavior vectors is classified as each belonging to at least a respective one of psychographic segments with the trained machine learning model to predict, based on the classification, a likelihood of the respective consumer engaging in behavior associated with a corresponding one of the psychographic segments.

A cluster placement criterion of the plurality of cluster placement criteria can be selected based on a quality metric of the selected cluster placement criterion, and the selected cluster placement criterion can be provided as a supplemental criterion used to select the content for display with the web page.
