  • Patent number: 11165717
Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to the use of Network-on-Chip architecture for solid state memory structures, both volatile and non-volatile, which provide for the access of memory storage blocks via a router. As such, data may be sent to and/or from the memory storage blocks as data packets on the chip. The Network-on-Chip architecture may further be utilized to interconnect unlimited numbers of memory cell matrices, spread on a die, thus allowing for reduced latencies among matrices, selective power control, unlimited memory density growth without major latency penalties, and reduced parasitic capacitance and resistance. Other benefits may include improved signal integrity, larger die areas available to implement memory arrays, and higher frequency of operation.

  • Patent number: 11153236
Abstract: This disclosure describes techniques that facilitate selectively automating a response to a client request for vendor services based on an intended meaning of the client request, a category of vendor services associated with the client request, and one or more factors such as an urgency index and a health index. The vendor services system may parse audio, text, and image data of a client request to determine an intended meaning. In some examples, the vendor services system may automate a response that resolves the client request, or automate a response that requests additional information from the client device. Alternatively, or additionally, the vendor services system may direct the client request to a vendor representative for further processing. In doing so, the vendor services system may monitor dialogue between the client and vendor representative, and selectively provide the vendor representative with support data that may help resolve the client request.

  • Patent number: 11115499
Abstract: A system includes a client device and a server in communication to a database. The server receives a request for service from a client device via an electronic message. The server then generates instructions to receive a characteristic of the client device, and to query for a record to identify whether the characteristic has a predetermined time period for priority service. The server determines whether a timestamp of the request is within the predetermined time period for the priority service. The server then increments a counter value associated with request having the characteristic having the timestamp within the predetermined time period for the priority service. When the counter value satisfies a threshold value, the server automatically adjust a record of each request having the characteristic to indicate the priority service regardless of a basis for the request.

  • Patent number: 10831554
Abstract: An example method to provide a storage service in a virtualized computing environment may include obtaining network latency information associated with various hosts in the virtualized computing environment. In response to identifying a first network latency value that exceeds a threshold, wherein the first network latency is between the first host and a second host in the virtualized computing environment, the method includes placing the second host in a first cohesive cluster consisting of the second host. In response to identifying a second network latency value being less than or equal to the threshold, wherein the second network latency value is between the first host and a third host in the virtualized computing environment, the method includes grouping the first host and the third host in a second cohesive cluster. The method includes initiating configuration of resources in the first cohesive cluster and the second cohesive cluster to support the storage service.

  • Patent number: 10812558
Abstract: Systems and methods are described to enable synchronized encoding of streaming audio or video content between multiple encoders, in a manner that provides for seamlessly interchangeable encodings. Within a pool of encoders, each encoder can generate state information regarding its state of encoding, and share that state information with a controller. The control can compare the state information of the various encoders to determine whether a desynchronization has occurred. When a desynchronization does occur, such as due to intermittent network packet loss, the controller can determine an authoritative state for the pool, and instruct desynchronized encoders to resynchronize to the authoritative state, resulting in identical or interchangeable encoded content being output from each encoder of the pool.

  • Patent number: 10803118
Abstract: A system of playing media content items determines transitions between pairs of media content items by determining desirable locations in which transitions across the pairs of media content items occur. The system uses a plurality of track features of media content items and determines such track features of each media content item associated with each of transition point candidates, such as beat positions, of that media content item. The system determines similarity in the plurality of track features between the transition point candidates of a first media content item and the transition point candidates for a second media content item being played subsequent to the first media content item. The transition points or portions of the first and second media content items are selected from the transition point candidates for the first and second media content items based on the similarity results.

  • Patent number: 10771271
Abstract: The current invention discloses methods and devices for adding a new member to a group, e.g. a chat group associated with a chat program. The new member may be added through a barcode-scanning process or an existing-member-invitation process. After the new member is added to the chat group, a server may send notification messages to mobile devices associated with the existing members of the group. The contents of the notification messages may vary based on the processes by which the new member is added, the number of existing members, and the direct-contact relationships the new member has with the existing members. The current invention provides simplified methods and devices for adding the new member, avoiding cumbersome operations and protecting member privacy at the same time.

  • Patent number: 10757210
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of direct communication and engagement within organization. In the modern scenario, there is an inherent need for the organization to provide information requested by its employees via direct electronic communication. The number of employees requesting information is usually much larger as compared to the number of management personnel equipped to provide the requested information and the companies are, thus, at a disadvantage in their ability to provide information to their employees. Therefore, there is a need for a system of direct electronic communication that enables organizations to provide information requested by individual employees, identify resources within the organization capable of providing the requested information, and route queries to the best available resource.

  • Patent number: 10740156
Abstract: A router receives a request to access a resource. In response to the request, the router identifies routing metadata comprising first metadata specifying a first location of the resource and a first merit value and second metadata specifying a second location of the resource and a second merit value. The router determines, based at least in part on the first merit value of the first metadata and the second merit value of the second metadata, an authoritative state of the resource associated with the first location or the second location. Based at least in part on the determination, the router identifies a preferred location for a new resource. In the event of a rollback, merit values are assigned to cause a reversal of the preferred path for the creation of new resources.

  • Patent number: 10742747
Abstract: An apparatus, computer-implemented method and computer program product manages connections for data communication. A first system initiates a process for establishing a new connection pipe of a socket-based connection between the first system and a second system. The new connection pipe is a replacement for an existing connection pipe. The existing connection pipe is accessed by a respective existing socket at each of the first and second systems. The first system receives acknowledgement from the second system confirming that the replacement connection pipe is established. The replacement connection pipe is accessed by a respective replacement socket at each of the first and second systems. The first system re-associates sessions of the existing socket at the first system to the replacement socket at the first system.

  • Patent number: 10735257
Abstract: A computer network has ports connected to production machines (PM) and communicating with an assigned virtual user interface and a higher-ranking facility located outside the PM. Connection of an additional PM is monitored, in which case a commissioning service automatically assigns a virtual user interface to the additional PM, re-initializes an individual virtual computer network within the computer network and connects the additional PM to the virtual user interface via the re-initialized virtual computer network. Communication between the additional PM and the assigned virtual user interface is isolated from other communications until, a release command is specified. A then activated integration service automatically re-initializes a virtual router for connection to the additional PM via the virtual computer network and configures the re-initialized virtual router such that the additional PM communicates with the higher-ranking facility via the re-initialized virtual router.

  • Patent number: 10686875
Abstract: A server set may provide a document service to various clients in view of considerations such as availability, fault tolerance, flexibility, and performance. Presented herein are document service architectures that involve partitioning the document set into at least two document ranges, and assigning the respective document ranges to an agent that is deployed to at least one assigned server. A request to apply an operation to a selected document may be fulfilled by identifying the document range of the document; identifying a selected server of the server set that hosts the agent to which the range is assigned; and forwarding the request to the selected server. In some variations, servers may retain detailed information about neighboring servers (e.g., according to logical and/or physical proximity) and scant information about distant servers, thereby avoiding both the extensive information exchange of highly informed network architectures and the inefficiency of uninformed routing algorithms.
