  • Patent number: 10376777
Abstract: An information processor determines data content to be transmitted and a destination device to which to transmit the data on the basis of the posture of the information processor identified on the basis of detection results of a sensor adapted to detect the posture thereof, a control method of an information processor, a program, and an information storage medium. A game process execution section determines a transmission destination device on the basis of the posture of the information processor identified on the basis of detection results of the sensor. A missile data generation section determines data content to be transmitted to the transmission destination device on the basis of the posture of the information processor identified on the basis of detection results of the sensor at a time different from when the transmission destination device is determined. A missile data transmission section transmits the data to the transmission destination device.

  • Patent number: 10373445
Abstract: A gaming system, apparatus, and method are disclosed providing a wagering games, gaming machines, networked gaming systems that provide a persistent gaming mode including a persistent game mode with multiple rounds in which each round includes a randomization of the matrix of symbol locations, a chance to win an award, and a chance to include a persistent feature event. An adjustable meter may be used to allow players to compete for the same bonuses or jackpots no matter what their bet level. A rolling meter shows special features scheduled to appear in future rounds using a rolling group of status indicators. A persistent game mode control process sets the frequency of scheduled special features and adjusts reel weights to achieve a desired payout.

  • Patent number: 10360764
Abstract: A method of mapping sporting event results to inputs for a game is provided. One or more event results of a particular sporting event having a particular number of participants are received, and a set of rules is selected from a plurality of sets of rules based on the particular number of participants in the particular sporting event. For each of a plurality of bets, one or more inputs for a game are determined by applying the selected set of rules to the received one or more event results of the particular sporting event. The result of the game is then determined for each of the plurality of bets based at least on the one or more determined inputs for that bet.

  • Patent number: 10350489
Abstract: Aspects of the present invention are directed to techniques for improving the manufacturing control mechanisms—specifically game controllers—for computerized electronic devices. According to one aspect of the present invention, a button assembly is provided that eliminates the need for dampers or gaskets for shock absorption by implementing the hammer and pad using novel and advantageous geometries. According to one embodiment, the bottom or striking surface of the hammer in a button assembly is implemented at an angle, which, when pressed, strikes a similarly angled surface of the landing pad. The slope of the corresponding angles cause the hammer to slide along the angled surface, and for the kinetic force of the impact to be redirected as shearing force away from the button assembly (and the corresponding user appendage).

  • Patent number: 10322343
Abstract: A system, a machine-readable storage medium storing instructions, and a computer-implemented method are described herein for an Animation Engine. The Animation Engine generates a color row representative of positional coordinates of movement of pixel data in an animation according to one or more colors of a color space. The Animation Engine divides the color row into a plurality of segments of equal length. For each segment of the color row, the Animation Engine scales down the respective segment according to a first scaling factor to generate a down-scaled segment. The Animation Engine expands the down-scaled segment according to an original length of the respective segment. The Animation Engine compares at least one color distortion present in the expanded down-scaled segment to at least one color present in the respective segment with respect to a distortion threshold.
