  • Patent number: 7980830
Abstract: A rotary shaft is rotatable relative to a motor rotor. A first end face of the motor rotor is exposed to the outside of a stator. A hammer portion is provided at the first end face. The hammer portion is configured to be movable as the motor rotor rotates. A collision portion rotating integrally with the rotary shaft is configured to collide with the hammer portion. The allowance space between the collision portion and the hammer portion allows the hammer portion to be move relative to the collision portion. Therefore, the electric pump is capable of detaching a rotor from a pump chamber without increasing the size of the pump.

  • Patent number: 7914263
Abstract: A centrifugal-type ejector machine of the invention comprises a sealed housing with a rotating rotor. The interior of the housing is filled with a liquid. The rotor has a central axial opening and is provided with a plurality of radial channels leading to the outer periphery of the rotor in a substantially tangential direction to the rotor periphery. The device operates as a compressor or a vacuum chamber based on the principle that difference of speeds between the periphery of the rotating rotor and stationary liquid created a negative pressure at the exit of radial channels of the rotor connected to the source of gas, which is extracted from the channels of the rotor into liquid and is removed through the outlet port of the compression chamber. In case the device works as a vacuum chamber, evacuation occurs through the aforementioned radial channels and the hollow shaft of the rotor.

  • Patent number: 7878765
Abstract: Systems and methods for monitoring operation of a pump, including verifying operation or actions of a pump, are disclosed. A baseline profile for one or more parameters of a pump may be established. An operating profile may then be created by recording one or more values for the same set of parameters during subsequent operation of the pump. The values of the baseline profile and the operating profile may then be compared at one or more points or sets of points. If the operating profile differs from the baseline profile by more than a certain tolerance an alarm may be sent or another action taken, for example the pumping system may shut down, etc.

  • Patent number: 7850431
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention are related to a pumping system that accurately dispenses fluid using a multiple stage (“multi-stage”) pump. More particularly, embodiments of the present invention provide for control of a feed stage pump to regulate fluid pressure at a downstream dispense stage pump. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a pressure sensor at the dispense stage pump determines the pressure in a dispense chamber. When the pressure reaches a predefined threshold, the dispense stage pump can begin to increase the available volume of the dispense chamber, thereby causing the pressure in the dispense chamber to drop. As the pressure decreases/increases at the downstream pump, the pressure applied by the upstream pump can bed increased/decreased.
