  • Patent number: 11506201
Abstract: The distance between openings of two supply passages that are closest to an accommodating recess is less than the distance between openings of two injection ports that are closest to compression chambers. This configuration minimizes the volume of the space in the accommodating recess between a check valve and the two supply passages, unlike a case in which the distance between the openings of the supply passages that are closest to the accommodating recess is greater than or equal to the distance between the openings of the two injection ports that are closest to the compression chambers. This reduces the flow rate of refrigerant that flows into the accommodating recess from the compression chambers in a compression process through the injection ports and the supply passages.

  • Patent number: 11506197
Abstract: Systems and methods for controlling downhole linear motors to minimize connections to surface equipment. In one embodiment, an ESP system is coupled by a power cable to equipment at the surface of a well. The ESP system includes a linear motor and a reciprocating pump. The motor has a set of position sensors that sense the position of a mover in the motor. Combining circuitry (E.G., XOR gate) combines the outputs of the position sensors into a single composite signal in which signal components corresponding to the position sensors are indistinguishable. A single channel carries the composite signal from the ESP system to the surface equipment. A control system determines a starting position of the motor and determines its subsequent position based on transitions in the composite signal. The motor is then operated based on the position determined from the composite signal.

  • Patent number: 11506189
Abstract: A well service pump system supplies high pressure working fluid to a well. The pump system is a linear design which incorporates a diesel engine, a hydraulic drive gear box, open loop hydraulic Pumps, hydraulic ram cylinders, controls for the hydraulic system hydraulic cylinders, working fluid end cylinders and a coupling to connect the hydraulic cylinders and the working fluid ends. The engine powers the hydraulic system which, in turn, provides hydraulic fluid to operate the hydraulic ram cylinders. Each of the polished rods of the hydraulic ram cylinders is connected axially to a plunger rod end of a working fluid end cylinder. There is no crankshaft or automatic transmission required. The linear design allows for a longer plunger stroke length while still allowing highway transport on a truck or skid.
