    Abstract: A device for dispensing items comprises a cabinet having an interior for storing items. A dispenser frame is coupled to the cabinet and is configured to be accessed, such as by pulling the dispenser frame from the cabinet. The dispenser frame includes a plurality of dividers that are configured to hold the plurality of dispensing mechanisms that each hold multiple items within the storage area. Further, the dividers are reconfigurable to permit the arrangement of the dispensing mechanisms to be adjusted. A lockable door is coupled to the front of the cabinet in front of the dispenser frame. The door may be opened to provide access to the interior of the cabinet and to the dispenser frame. A dispense drawer is positioned below the storage area so that items dispensed from the dispensing mechanisms fall into the dispense drawer, where they may be accessed by pulling open the dispense drawer.

    Abstract: A folding device of the present invention includes a fold plate and a fold roller pair for folding a sheet or a sheet stack conveyed thereto. A controller causes the fold roller pair to move back and forth while nipping the folded portion of the sheet or that of the sheet stack at its nip for thereby continuously exerting pressure on the folded portion. The fold roller pair is rotated in opposite directions for thereby sharpening the fold of the sheet or that of the sheet stack.

The sheet size detecting device overlaps the sheet storage device in a sheet stacking direction when the sheet storage device is positioned at the sheet feeding position.

    Abstract: An adjustable floor or table lamp has a diffuser globe surrounding a light source for providing general diffuse light in a room, and an adjustable reflector above the diffuser for reflecting a portion of the light and thereby intensifying the light in a reading area. The diffuser may be open at its top for directing brighter light to the reflector and thus to the reading area. The reflector may be a two-sided mirror, with one side planar and the other non-planar, with the mirror mounted on a horizontal pivot axis over the diffuser and light source. In other embodiments an adjustable lamp includes multiple mirrors receiving light from a single source and reflecting it in concentrated beams in different directions. A small mirror may be positioned between a larger mirror and the light source, or the mirror closer to the source may be partially transmissive, or both mirrors may be together in a compound gimbaled apparatus, with the mirrors separately adjustable.
