  • Patent number: 7393200
Abstract: There is provided an electromotion ice-cream disher, in which sawteeth are formed at a lower portion of a rotating cap disposed inside a holder and a receiving groove for receiving ice cream is formed, such that that ice cream can be easily taken from a container and placed on a dish or plate easily by rotation and upward/downward motion of the receiving groove. In the electromotion ice-cream disher, a hemispherical rotational cap is provided inside the holder and is integrally formed with a connecting pipe passing through the holder and has sawteeth at a lower portion, such that the rotational cap is rotatable within the holder by a stop washer. A spline shaft is connected to a drive shaft of a drive motor and inserted/protruded to/from the connecting pipe and transfers a rotational force of the drive motor to the rotational cap. A solenoid has a rod connected to the drive motor.

  • Patent number: 7210920
Abstract: A special tabbed pattern is integrated into a series of forms. The forms may be cookie cutters adapted to cut baked dough or other material set to desired density to provide a series of panels corresponding to the cutters. Alternatively, the forms may be molds, e.g, adapted to receive melted chocolate which is allowed to cool and set to form a series of panels corresponding to the molds. The panels are adapted to be joined together to form a decorative structure. The tabs are sized and positioned to provide a dovetail joint along each edge of the structure. The protruding tabs or ends are of a slightly smaller dimension than the notches that they fit inside of to provide a secure fit. This self-interlocking design allows each individual piece of the structure to be fitted together, one at a time, while maintaining an acceptable degree of stability throughout the assembly process.

  • Patent number: 7198246
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of strengthening a mould manufactured from aluminium or its alloys. One method of strengthening a mould having mould body and mould walls as an integral unit is to include at least one insert into each of the mould walls. These inserts are of stronger material or materials as compared to the mould material. Each of these inserts is of the same height as that of the mould wall at the position where it is located. Another method uses reinforced walls which are separate units, with the reinforced walls made of a higher strength material or materials than that of the mould body. The reinforced walls are coupled to the mould body either by fasteners or by welding or bonding or by any other suitable means. The invention also relates to moulds including strengthening according to one or more of these methods.

  • Patent number: 7179078
Abstract: A scoop device for forming scoops of a material, such as ice cream or other foods, includes a frame adapted to be held in the hand of a used with a plunger extending into the user's palm to be operated by squeezing or closing the hand. A pair of scoop halves are pivotally connected to rotate between open and closed positions. A pivot plate is attached to the plunger to be moved relative to the frame by movement of the plunger. A pair of lever arms are coupled to the frame, the pivot plate, and the scoop halves so that movement of the pivot plate in relation to the frame causes movement of the lever arms and, in turn, rotation of the scoop halves between open and closed positions. The lever arms each have opposite ends and an intermediate fulcrum. The device can be biased to normally maintain the scoop halves in either open or closed position, as by a spring arranged to bias the plunger.
