Abstract: Provided is an information processing apparatus including a data acquisition unit that acquires content item data indicating a content item, an identification information generation unit that generates identification information of the content item on the basis of the content item data acquired by the data acquisition unit according to a predefined rule, and a browsing history extraction unit that extracts a browsing history of a user regarding the content item in correlation with the identification information of the content item generated by the identification information generation unit.
