Abstract: Some examples of visualizing relationships in data sets can be implemented as a method by one or more computer systems. Dimension objects and multiple measure objects are displayed adjacent to a cause region and an effect region in a user interface. Each dimension object represents an input category associated with an input quantity that contributes to a total quantity in a data set. Each measure object represents an output category associated with an output quantity based on an input category. A dimension object and a measure object can be moved into the cause region and the effect region, respectively, in response to input. From the data set, an output quantity associated with the measure object is determined based on an input quantity associated with the dimension object from the total quantity in the data set. A result representing the output quantity is displayed in the measure object.

The method includes sensing a user's gesture requesting a share panel, and causing the share panel including a list of identification information of one or more external devices to appear from a side of a screen and then displaying the share panel at the side of the screen, according to the user's gesture requesting the share panel.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a computing device may include a window system configured to receive window region information and transparency information for a window rendered from an application. The transparency information may indicate that transparency is enabled for the window. The window region information may define a region within the window. The window system may be configured to modify an original frame of the window to create a modified frame based on the window region information and the transparency information such that the region within the window for the modified frame meets a threshold level of transparency. The computing device may include a graphical user interface configured to provide a display of the window with the modified frame.

Abstract: Technologies are presented for synchronizing associations between application icons and application functions across platforms. According to some examples, a layout and positioning of icons for different applications that perform similar functions may be synchronized across different devices. As a result, users may associate the position of an application icon on a device display with a particular function regardless of the actual device or platform. An application equivalence map may be used to synchronize application icon layout and positioning across the different devices and platforms. In other examples, icons for different applications that perform similar functions on different devices may be positioned similarly relative to equivalent display elements or features such as display corners, built-in interface elements, and comparable features.

A user can navigate to one of the features using the at least one first key selection associated with the feature. The method further includes establishing at least one second key selection. Abstract: Embodiments provided herein involve connected states between a mobile device and one or more zones in a network media system and different interactions between the mobile device and the network media system involving the connected states. The connected states may be established between the mobile device and the one or more zones such that further actions taken on media items identified in the playlist on the mobile device may also be taken on corresponding media items in a playback queue associated with the one or more zones. The interface on the mobile device may display various graphical representations to indicate the different interactions involving the connected states, including when a connected state is established, when a connected state is lost, and when a reconnected state is reestablished. The interface may further provide selectable icons to allow a user to navigate among the different media playback options involving the connected states.

Abstract: Vehicle event data playback systems have been devised and invented to provide authorized users means for advanced visual review. Detailed circumstances relating to vehicle operation are visually presented in these unique playback systems. In particular, a group of cooperating visual display devices operate in conjunction with each other to effect a detailed visual presentation of a vehicle's operational states. An interested party is afforded a high level of access to many data types in highly graphical and intuitive arrangements. Further, data replay access is enhanced by slow motion, fast forward, loop repeat, among others which have never before been associated with these data types nor with the compound visual presentations first taught in the accompanying disclosure.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for presenting a plurality of shared calendars in a single electronic display frame or window where each of the plurality of shared calendars is displayed in a common view mode relative to other displayed shared calendars. Users may select one or more shared calendars to be displayed in the same display frame or window as their own calendar. Upon selection of a shared calendar to be displayed alongside a first calendar, an aggregate view object is called to control and coordinate all shared calendars selected for display in the common window or frame. The aggregate view object determines the view data object, including view mode (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) and other calendar display settings of the first or active calendar displayed in the common view of shared calendars.

The controller is configured to automatically traverse a menu of the field device using a fast-key sequence relative to the selected task. A method of creating a task-based field maintenance operation is provided. A method of interacting with a field device menu is also provided.
