A method for indicating a sounding reference signal configuration may include: generating at least two pieces of downlink control signaling DCI, where each of the at least two pieces of DCI includes a sounding reference signal SRS configuration information element; and transmitting the at least two pieces of DCI in a subframe to a terminal, so that the SRS configuration information elements in the at least two pieces of DCI are used to jointly indicate an SRS configuration. Solutions of embodiments of the present invention can improve accuracy and flexibility of indicating an SRS configuration.

Within the inter-session coding regions, combinations of coded packets associated with different unicast sessions are permitted. However, packets associated with multiple different unicast sessions are not allowed to be transmitted outside of the coding regions.

    Abstract: A network controlling entity in a heterogeneous or local area network (such as a macro eNB) selects a set of network access nodes that share a common wake-up area code WUAC. The network controlling entity selects a transmission entity such as a motile terminal/UE and directs it to wirelessly transmit a signal on a given radio resource. The network controlling entity also informs each network access node within the set of the given radio resource on which they should listen for the signal. In various embodiments the network access nodes within the set can choose whether or not to listen for the signal and thus choose whether they will wakeup, or they can reply to the signal with a request for wakeup confirmation. In this manner WUAC-specific sets of small cells can be awakened only when needed for traffic offloading and thereby saving energy.

An identifier for ordered data communication may used to enable in order communication through both the first and the second network devices. Data to be transmitted to the user device may be split into a first portion and a second portion, and transmitted through the WWAN connection and to the second network device for transmission to the user device via the WLAN respectively.

    Abstract: Architecture that provides reliable communications of broadcast data (e.g., a message) in a collection of nodes. Each node in the collection is assigned a range of identifiers in a token. The union of the tokens for all nodes is the entire identifier range space. Each node that receives a reliable broadcast message from an originator node acknowledges receipt of the message using its token. One or more intermediate nodes forward the message from the originator node to other nodes with which the originator node has no direct communications (multi-level node structure). The indirect nodes each send acknowledgements back to the parent nodes (which can be an intermediate node) which combine the tokens to ensure the entire range space for the associated assigned token range is covered. The originator node ultimately receives tokens to compute if all nodes have received the message.
