  • Patent number: 4944472
Abstract: The cable dispenser generally comprises a collapsible stand, a collapsible reel and a hook which interconnects the reel and stand. The collapsible stand includes two inverted, generally U-shaped legs with an apex intermediate the ends of each leg. The legs are pivotably coupled together at their apexes. The legs are movable between a collapsed position in which the legs are alinged one over the other and an in use position in which the legs are crossed. The collapsible reel includes a flat base. A pair of inverted generally V-shaped rods are pivotably mounted to the base. The rods are movable between an in use position in which the rods stand upright on the base and a collapsed position in which the rods lie next to the base. The hook interconnects the reel and the stand, so that when the stand and the reel are in their respected in use positions, the reel rotates freely within the legs and when the stand and the reel are in their respective collapsed positioned, the apparatus is flat.

  • Patent number: 4930672
Abstract: Storing transfer lung to interconnect developing and printing machines for continuous strip photogrpahic material, comprising:a means in a fixed position having upper transmission rollers on a horizontal axis (4-10-, 3, 12-18, 11, 20-26, 28-34, 27, 36), cooperating with a lower means on a vertically mobile frame (36,37) with lower transmission rollers on a horizontal axis (4'-10', 11'-17', 3', 20'-26', 27'-33'), below the first ones, in which said storing lung consists of:at least one set of transmission rollers arranged in longitudinal rows parallel to each other, the heads being close to each other, with the rotary axis slanted on the horizontal axis in respect to the lining-up of the respective row (4-10, 12-18, 20-26, 28-34) included in said fixed position means, having upper transmission rollers on a horizontal axis (4-10, 3, 12-18, 11, 20-26, 28-34, 27, 36)at least one set of transmission rollers arranged in longitudinal rows parallel to each other, the heads being close to each other, with the rotary a

  • Patent number: 4921180
Abstract: A housing is mounted on a column outwardly of a package conveyor at the rear of the machine. A pair of support arms are connected to gears of a gear assembly in the housing and extend at a downward inclination inwardly toward the machine. One of the arms is mounted above the other arm and is longer so that package supporting rods extending from the ends of the support arms will be substantially parallel in a generally horizontal plane for receipt of packages positioned thereon at the winding station. The housing is vertically movable to lower the support arms for deposit of the package onto the conveyor. The support arms pivot through arcs sufficiently long to clear the rods of the package upon raising of the housing and connected support arms into position for receipt of the next package.

  • Patent number: 4915315
Abstract: A yarn traverse-winding apparatus of a textile machine producing cross-wound bobbins has a given traversing width and an endless yarn traversing belt. The belt has a belt body, yarn drivers spaced apart along the belt body, and inlays spaced apart within the belt body at intervals smaller than the given traversing width. The inlays are individually detectable by a sensor aimed at the yarn traversing belt.

  • Patent number: 4913371
Abstract: An automatic reset strap lock device having pawls to engage lugs upon rapid pulling of a strap from a drum on which the strap is wound and springs and an inertia plate to insure resetting of the pawls to permit rewinding of the strap or continued pulling of the strap from the drum at a rate that does not actuate the pawls into engagement with the lugs.

  • Patent number: 4901931
Abstract: A thread seeking apparatus for handling thread wound on a core of a cop has a cop holding arrangement rotatable about a vertical axis. Also included is an axially symmetrical housing chamber for containing the cop. The housing chamber is sized to have an annular space remaining between the outside of the cop and the inside of the housing chamber. The housing chamber includes a pair of half-shells laterally reciprocatable between an open position and a closed seeking position. The apparatus includes a streaming channel that can receive the thread taken from the circumference of the cop. The streaming channel is positioned to communicate with the upper end of the housing chamber. An inlet jet is mounted at one end of the housing chamber for communicating with the annular space in the housing chamber and causing an airflow therein. Also included is a headpiece connected with the streaming channel and bordering the housing chamber. The headpiece has a bell-shaped mouth for embracing the upper end of the cop.
