Abstract: The present invention relates to an isocyanate reactive component comprising a specific polyol mixture useful for the preparation of homogenous reactive polyurethane compositions. The invention further relates to a reactive polyurethane composition comprising such isocyanate reactive component and an isocyanate component. It also relates to a homogeneous polyurethane foam having good mold release property and surface quality prepared from such reactive polyurethane compositions. Abstract: An endovascular guide catheter includes a guide tube and a handle. The flexible guide tube has a distal end portion configured to deflect via actuation of a pull wire. The handle is coupled to the guide tube and comprises a steering assembly configured to actuate the pull wire to deflect the distal end portion of the guide tube. The steering assembly can comprise a stationary rack, a gear, a reel, and a slider. The gear engages the rack and the reel is coupled to and configured to rotate with the gear. The pull wire is coupled to the reel such that rotation of the reel causes the pull wire to wind or unwind around the reel. The slider is adapted for translation relative to the rack. Translation of the slider translates the reel relative to the rack and rotation of the gear along the rack rotates the reel.
Abstract: Protein enriched micro-vesicles and methods of making and using the same are provided. Aspects of the methods include maintaining a cell having a membrane-associated protein comprising a first dimerization domain and a target protein having a second dimerization domain under conditions sufficient to produce a micro-vesicle from the cell, wherein the micro-vesicle includes the target protein. Also provided are cells, reagents and kits that find use in making the micro-vesicles, as well as methods of using the micro-vesicles, e.g., in research and therapeutic applications.

Abstract: A network may provide latency optimization by configuring respective latency values of one or more network components. A latency manager may receive a request indicative of a maximum latency value of a communications path between two devices, and may determine a particular network latency value. The latency manager may then determine respective endpoint latency values for endpoint devices based on the maximum latency value and network latency values. In addition, buffer characteristics, such as buffer depth at particular devices, may be adjusted in view of the latencies.
Abstract: A gas dissolving system using double mixers to generate a higher gas concentration in liquid is disclosed. The gas dissolving system includes two gas mixers, a degassing device, pressure valves, a pressure sensor, and a pump. Liquid flows through mixers to entrain gas therein, and it thus contains dissolved gas and undissolved gas. The liquid subsequently flows into the degassing device so that undissolved gas is released to the outside environment, and dissolved gas remains in the liquid. The liquid with dissolved gas combines with raw liquid and is diluted so that it becomes liquid with a desired gas concentration as the output. A high gas concentration of liquid is obtained after more cycles of fluid flow through the mixers to dissolve gas without combining raw liquid.
Abstract: An illumination device includes a case, a lens body, an LED substrate, a stopper member, and a lead wire. The lens body is fixed in the case. An illuminating part of the lens body projects outward from the upper face opening of the case. The LED substrate is housed in the substrate housing part of the lens body, and the lower surface of the LED substrate is supported by the stopper member. The two lead wires are connected to the LED, led out of the case through insertion holes in the stopper member, and retained by one of lead wire retainers formed on the two side surfaces of the case.
Abstract: Disclosed is a flow meter and method for measuring water cut and salinity of a multiphase mixture. The water-cut meter includes a conduit configured to receive the multiphase mixture, and a probe array configured to measure a cross-sectional area of the conduit. The probe array includes a plurality of coaxial probes connected in parallel. Optionally, the probe array is configured to operate at a single high frequency, for example, 1 to 3 GHz, to minimize conductivity loss relative to capacitance. The flow meter further includes a processor configured to transmit a signal to the probe array and to receive a reflected signal from the probe array using a single channel. The processor is further configured to calculate the water cut and the salinity of the multiphase mixture based on a single complex permittivity of the multiphase mixture calculated from the received reflected signal.

Abstract: A method of recycling a composite container for a high-pressure gas is carried out so as to recover carbon fibers in a long fiber state, using a recovering apparatus that can separate the inner and outer containers of a composite container for a high-pressure gas such as a hydrogen tank and take carbon fibers out of the outer container without cutting it in order to recycle the composite container, in order to increase the degree of recovery of carbon fibers and improve the efficiency of recycling.
