Abstract: A universal cap to be placed on standard containers for lip balm and lipstick that contains one or more modules that house therein functional items to assist the user for personal health and safety applications. The cap includes modules that contain space for the inclusion of identifying information, interior space for a flashlight and battery, interior space for an audio alarm, an interior space to house medication, a place for a nail file and a place for a glass breaker along with a flange to allow attachment to a lanyard or similar item.

Abstract: A rotating cake support including a pair of horizontally disposed pallets joined together by a number of tubular pillars is disclosed. The upper pallet directly supports a cake plate having a central bore for rotational engagement with a peg which extends upwardly from the upper pallet. The periphery of the cake plate is provided with a resilient band forming a moisture impermeable barrier for ensuring the longevity of the plate.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to a pallet extender for mounting at an end of an aircraft cargo pallet comprising, a first elongate load support panel, hinges on one elongate edge of the panel to mount the panel along an end of a pallet to pivot about an axis extending along said edge of a panel. A second elongate panel, extends along the other elongate edge of the first panel and is connected thereto by a hinge to allow the second panel to pivot with respect to the first panel. Locking means act between the first and second panels to lock the second panel in any one of a plurality of different attitudes with respect to the first panel. Support structures are provided at both ends of said one panel extending to one side of the panel, and brace means connect the support structures to the pallet to support the panels at a required attitude with respect to the pallet.

Abstract: A container holder for a vehicle is stored in an armrest and can be moved to a use position exposing a container supporting element. The container supporting element includes an aperture with adjustable dimensions for holding different sized containers. The aperture may include inwardly projecting resilient or pivoted sectors. In one embodiment the aperture is defined by spaced vertically extending rods which pivot toward and away from each other to provide support for different sized containers.

Abstract: A vertically-adjustable leg assembly particularly suitable for a pedestal table, the assembly having telescoping inner and outer tubes of generally rectangular cross section with the external dimensions of the inner tube being sufficiently smaller than the corresponding internal dimensions of the outer tube to define a perimetric space between them. A pair of vertically-elongated, channel-shaped bearing blocks formed of rigid polymeric material are located in the space between the two tubes and are supported by the outer tube adjacent the open end thereof. At least one of the bearing blocks is adjustably mounted and is constructed so that adjustment forces exerted at spaced points will be distributed along the length of the block. The end of the inner tube disposed within the outer tube has channel-shaped bearing shoes, also formed of rigid polymeric material, secured thereto and slidably engagable with the inner surfaces of the outer tube.
