    Abstract: A combined ventilation and microwave oven system includes an external enclosure with a top portion defining recirculation vent outlets, a cooling air inlet, a cooling air outlet, and an outside vent outlet, first and second side portions, and a bottom portion defining a vent inlet. The vent inlet is connected with the recirculation vent outlets and the outside vent outlet via airflow pathways. A hood assembly is disposed within the external enclosure and includes a first hood fan disposed between the cooking cavity and the first side portion and a second hood fan disposed between the cooking cavity and the second side portion. The hood assembly is configured to direct air through the vent inlet and through an interior of the external enclosure. A cooling fan is disposed between the cooking cavity and the second side portion to direct air through the cooling air inlet and the cooling air outlet.

Embodiments of the present disclosure describe a susceptor for chemical vapor deposition comprising a horizontal plate with a top surface configured to support one or more wafers, a vertical rod integrated with and perpendicular to the horizontal plate, and a hollow region within the vertical rod for promoting temperature uniformity across the top surface of the horizontal plate.

    Abstract: Therapeutic as well as preventive measures to improve cosmetic conditions and to alleviate the symptoms of dermatologic disorders with retinal and its derivatives is disclosed. Cosmetic conditions and dermatologic disorders in humans and domestic animals in which retinal and its derivatives may be useful include age spots, wrinkles, warts, eczema, seborrheic keratoses, acne, oily skin, psoriasis, dandruff, xerosis, inflammatory and pruritic skin, disturbed keratinization skin changes associated with aging and possibly viral infections. Retinal and its derivatives include their stereoisomers, for example, all-trans, 13-cis, 11-cis, 9-cis, 7-cis, 11,13-cis and 9,13-cis vitamin A aldehydes, their hydrate, hemiacetal and acetal forms, and their adduct compounds. Compositions containing retinal or its derivative may be administered systemically such as orally, or topically to the affected areas of the skin.
