Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a helper user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a signaling message requesting the helper UE to monitor for and transmit a sidelink communication in a manner that uses a single-frequency network, wherein the sidelink communication is to be transmitted by a source UE to a destination UE that is different from the helper UE. The helper UE may receive the sidelink communication, transmitted by the source UE to the destination UE, in a first time-frequency resource of the single-frequency network. The helper UE may transmit the sidelink communication in a second time-frequency resource of the single-frequency network, wherein the second time-frequency resource is indicated to the helper UE by the base station.
