Abstract: A stove in which the fuel is combusted within a primary combustion zone and the products of combustion are transported into a tertiary combustion zone surrounded by a container of water. A bundle of secondary combustion tubes connect the primary and tertiary combustion zones. The tertiary combustion and separation chamber termed a posatron completes the combustion and separates a portion of the creosote and other condensable materials from the combustion gases. The combustion gases are then conducted through small pipes immersed in the water bath to cool the combustion gases and complete the condensation of water, creosote and other unburned constituents. The water and creosote mixture flows into a creosote collection chamber and the products of combustion are either recycled to the combustion chamber or exhaused to the atmosphere. Heat is removed from the system by recirculating air or by hot water circulation.
