Abstract: An electronic device includes two bodies, at least one hinge structure, a functional assembly, and at least one linkage structure. The two bodies are pivotally connected to each other through the hinge structure. The functional assembly is movably disposed on one of the two bodies. The linkage structure is connected between the two bodies, and the functional assembly is connected to the linkage structure. The linkage structure is adapted to drive the functional assembly to move relative to the corresponding body as the two bodies are rotated relative to each other.

Abstract: An information handling system keyboard has plural key caps coupled to a frame with a vertical travel having a raised position defined by engagement between a stop of the frame and a key cap extension from the key cap. A fluid reservoir coupled to the key cap at the key cap extension dampens contact between the extension and stop to reduce sound generated from the keyboard at release of the keyboard key. The fluid reservoir is, for instance, an acoustic grease enclosed in membrane and integrated in the keyboard key at the extension where it aligns with the stop.
Abstract: Generating a virtual core includes obtaining acquired data for a region of interest, determining a rock type of the region of interest, obtaining a selection of modules based on the rock type, and generating, using the acquired data and an interpolator from the modules, a wellbore image of the region of interest. The interpolator generates interpolated data between data points among the acquired data in the wellbore image. Further, using a quantifier from the plurality of modules, a core characterization of the region of interest is determined. The core characterization describes an integration of wellbore data types. Using the core characterization and the wellbore image, a digital core construction of the region of interest is generated. The digital core construction describes subterranean formation properties of the region of interest.

Abstract: A universal mounting mechanism for mounting a telecommunications chassis to a telecommunications fixture includes a mounting bracket defining a rear portion for mounting to the fixture and a front portion for slidably receiving the chassis, the front portion including a latch opening. A locking spring is configured for mounting to the chassis, the spring configured to flex laterally to snap in to the latch opening. Abstract: Aspects described herein relate to three-dimensional (3D) characters and rapidly generating 3D characters from a plurality of 3D source models. In generating the 3D characters, one or more 3D source models may be standardized, applied to a base mesh with material ID assignments, and decomposed to isolate particular polygonal mesh pieces and/or texture map feature selections denoted by the material IDs of the base mesh. The disparate isolated polygonal mesh pieces and/or texture map feature selections may be assembled in a modular fashion to compose unique 3D characters unlike any of those of the one or more 3D models. The 3D characters may be further refined through the addition of features and/or accessories, and may also be processed through machine learning algorithms to further ascertain uniqueness.

The commercial transactions may be, for example, pre-pay pickup transactions, direct pay transactions, and transfer transactions. An identity of a user that initiates a commercial transaction may be verified based on biometric data. The biometric data may, for example, be representative of an image of at least a portion of a face of an individual, an image of an iris of an individual, at least a portion of a fingerprint of an individual, a temperature signature of an individual, a heartbeat signature of an individual, an odor characteristic of an individual, or a voice characteristic of an individual.
Abstract: A method for protecting data in an external memory based on an isolated execution environment is provided. The method is used in a processor in the isolated execution environment of a system-on-a-chip. The method includes: accessing an output command of a main system processor in a main system of the system-on-a-chip; reading first data from a shared memory in the main system according to the output command; encrypting the first data with a private key and generating encrypted first data; and outputting the encrypted first data to the external memory.
Abstract: A system configured to improve a voice quality during a communication session by performing bandwidth extension on a narrowband speech signal to generate a wideband speech signal with higher audio quality. For example, a system can extend a speech bandwidth from a narrowband signal having a first bandwidth (e.g., 4 kHz) to a wideband signal having a second bandwidth (e.g., 8 kHz or higher). To perform bandwidth extension, the system may include cascaded neural networks, such as two or more sub-pixel convolutional neural networks (CNNs) connected in series. In some examples, a first sub-pixel CNN may extend the speech bandwidth from 4 kHz to 6 kHz and a second sub-pixel CNN may extend the speech bandwidth from 6 kHz to 8 kHz. Alternatively, the system may use three or more cascaded neural networks and/or may extend the speech bandwidth above 8 kHz without departing from the disclosure.
Abstract: At least one exemplary embodiment is directed to a method of determining hearing loss using audio cues whose spectrum is orthogonal to each other to identify a wearer's hearing loss, and using the information to adjust audio to normal listening levels.
