The receiving cavity has a first section provided proximate the wire-receiving face and a second section provided proximate the end wall at the end of the terminal-receiving cavities. A transition wall is provided between the first section and the second section. A rear cover member is provided proximate the wire-receiving face. The receiving cavity is configured to receive a gang sealing member in the first section or individual wire sealing members in the second section to form a seal between the housing and the respective gang sealing member or the individual wire sealing members.

The safety valve further includes an additional sealing element inside the outlet channel. The additional sealing element includes a membrane that is permeable to gases and to establish fluid communication from the interior of the case towards the exterior, when the internal pressure exceeds a predetermined value, and impermeable to liquids flowing from outside the case towards the interior of the case.

The diaphragm couples to a pin that transitions along with a dart based on the pressure at the diaphragm. When pressure reaches or exceeds a threshold, the dart is transitioned to a location proximate to a sensor. The sensor triggers actuation of a switch to prevent release or opening of a remote connector of a hydraulics unit until the pressure is at or falls below the threshold. The threshold is set to a pressure based on the unsafe condition.
